When the first swarm came to Earth, we didn't know what the heck hit us. The skies went dark as they filled with huge swarms of alien bugs, that we now call Manti. Manti consume human DNA to survive and power their fleet. Soon whole cities were consumed, and harvested by those bugs. Once harvested, infected humans became dangerous mutants turning on their own by attacking humans in battle. Fleeing into the Solar Colonies, our species grew scattered and very weak. By the time that the second arrived, the Earth was barely fit for human life. Now the second Swarm is well underway. The Manti have taken over earth and turned it into their home world. If there is ever a third swarm, the human race will not survive. The Manti threat must soon be eliminated if the human race is to try to survive.
Human resistance is led by a coalition of galactic troops known as GSA, ( Galactic Star gate Authority). Headquartered at Cydonia Base, Mars GSA troops cross the galaxy using a network of star gates to attack bug outposts. Only bold GSA Defenders, the elite pilots of the Galactic Star gate Authority, stand in the way of human extinction. No treaties can be made, and no peace can be reached in this war.
Manti have hijacked Earth as their new home world. It's not looking good for mankind. This is where teams will start to fight to the death, in order to reclaim earth from the Manti scum.

After Kyoto found out that her brother John was killed by the evil Manti scum, she had vowed that she would avenge her brother, and try to help save her home planet Earth. But before she could even begin her revenge and goals she had to complete her last two training missions. The training center is on our farthest planet Pluto because, if something happened the new recruits wouldn’t be harmed. So after Kyoto had got into her ship the defender 7, she went through the star gate portal to Pluto for her last two missions. Her first mission was to fly through 30 star gates under thirty seconds. Her first five times were 00”50”79, 00”45”34, 00”39”28, 00”35”91, and 00”30”01. They said that she could go on to mission number two because she improved dramatically. But she told them that she would get this mission under 30 seconds. They were just about to let her go when commander Adams had call on the base. He told Kyoto that if she hurried up on her missions and completed them nicely she could make it to the party. The party was being held because some faces wouldn’t be seen again so everyone could hang out for one last time before the attack on earth. The party was being held on the mars base, and nobody knew what would happen after the first few hours of the party. But before we get to the party Kyoto rushed threw the course at hyper speed since she new the course so well. After she passed through the last star gate, and landed to find out her time it was just silence. She said “well what’s my time? Well is anyone going to speak up!” The training instructor said “ well Mrs. Kyoto your time was incredible! Not only did you beat your goal, but you also beat the record for this course. The record was 00”25”35, and you got 00”19”27. Kyoto you may go to your second mission now, and also congratulations on your time.” It was a half an hour before the party would begin, and a half an hour before the incident would happen. Kyoto’s second mission was target practice. She had to demolish some buildings that would be tore down while they were fighting the manti, so instead of them demolishing them they decided that Kyoto could use them as target practice. Her 4 weapons on her ship were a five barrel machine gun, a 4 sided laser cannon that can cut through almost anything, a charging cannon that when it was charged all the way it could take out 10 to 16 in one blast, also it doesn’t harm you at all, and the last weapon is the 5 cannon homing missiles. Also the defender ship comes with an advanced shield that lasts for 3 minuets and can be used 3 times before it needs to be recharged. After she had destroyed the buildings she was going to the star gate to go back to mars when everything had happened. The party incident, and something had even happened at the training base. Kyoto wasn’t even sure what was going on until it was almost to late.

When Kyoto’s ship was repaired by the colonists she saved, and before she left for the battle that was taking place on Mars she said to the colonists “put up some Tanks, and Missile Crawlers incase while I’m gone another attack happens.” They took her advice and set up. After that she went through the star gate with weapons blazing, and shields ready to be put up incase of an attack as soon as she entered the bloody battle field. When she arrived she seen over seven-hundred Manti or more. She got told by Memory just to stay alive, and kill as many as she could. She had noticed that there were six plasma cannons without their power supplies, so she looked on her radar seeing where they were taken. She seen one by a cliff, three guarded by twenty Manti, two guarded by land Manti that we call Widows, or Manti Crawlers. The other one was being guarded by a Manti called a Scorpion, or The Carrier. She decided to go for the three guarded by the twenty Manti. She had opened up the five barrel machine gun. She creped closer to them, with her fingers on the firing controls. When she got close enough she slammed her fingers on the firing buttons, aimed, and watched the Manti blow up into tiny little pieces. She then took each power supply to its generator. The plasma cannons then activated themselves and shot any Manti that came into view. Kyoto “that’s three down and only four to go. She went towards the cliff area for the next one, and was wondering why enemies were coming up on her radar. She then realized that it was a trap, and put one of her shields up and rushed in there taking the power supply, and then dropping it off at the generator. She had a minute until her first shield would dropped so she hurried back with her charged blaster fully charged. She seen that they were coming towards her so she hit the center of the swarm, and when the blast hit she seen a huge blue flash. Then when the flash ended, there was not even a molecule left of them. She had to wait for the beam to cool off for a moment so she went towards the Scorpion, with the four barrel laser cannon. She charged right at it, and started cutting it up. It took two minuets, but after that it tried to escape and go destroy some of the plasma cannons. Kyoto followed it, and started shooting it with her five barrel machine gun. Before it got there she blew it into five pieces that imploded when the hit the ground. She went back to where it was and got the power supply and put it into the generator. She just needed two more, but she was no match for three Widows. She decided that she would charge her beam up, then put the shield up before she got there so she’d have more time to destroy them. When she got there the beam only killed one of them, but two were left and her beam cannon would take some time to cool down. So instead she said ‘looks like its going to be a long fight now, so I guess I’ll chop one up with my laser cannon, and kill the other one with my charge beam if it gets ready in time I’ll kill the other one. But if my shield drops before both of them are dead I’ll die almost instantly since they’re so strong. Well like Commander Adams said “ not all of you will come back here alive. You got to take chances, and risks in order to save what you love.” “Well Commander Adams I now understand what you meant. So I guess its all or nothing now. Widows its time you die!”

Kyoto was trapped within her ship. She couldn’t get out or do anything because she was unconscious. All anyone could have done was pray, and hope that she would awaken soon enough to escape the battle field alive. While she was unconscious she was having a flash back of her entire life. When she was five years old, her brother went and got her something she never had dreamed of getting. She got a chance to go with him to the Memory ship prototype. She had always wanted to go there with her brother, and her brother had made her biggest wish she had come true. She even got to meet the Commander Adams at that time as well. Commander Adams said: One day Kyoto you’ll be here with all of us. You, your brother, and me will all be here at the same time one day.” But little did Kyoto know that Commander Adams was actually her father that disappeared three years ago. She only knew her father when she was just a little baby, so she doesn’t really remember him at all. Her brother and Commander Adams had an agreement that “when the time comes for her to join us, will be the time she gets to meet her father again.” Her mother had taken care of her everyday when her brother went to the Memory ship prototype. She also had known about Kyoto’s fathers disappearance, but she agreed not to tell her daughter as well. When Kyoto had turned 18 years old, and after she finished school she got a certificate to go to GSA Academy. When she got there she was told to start training, so she could help them out whenever something could happen. She had been training, for three years and she had just about finished it when the first Manti wave had arrived. Nobody was prepared, and earth was sent into turmoil. Kyoto was on Pluto doing her training, when she got called back to the newly finished ship Memory. Memory had called Kyoto and said “Kyoto stop your training and come to GSA Headquarters.” (AKA the ship Memory.) Kyoto thought that she had finished her training and would be joining her brother. But she was wrong, dead wrong. When she had arrived to GSA Headquarters, she was told by Commander Adams that her brother was dead. Also she found out that her mother was safe, safe on Pluto. She was happy her Mother was ok, but her heart was broken when she found out that her only brother had been killed. That’s when she made her vow to Memory, Commander Adams, Earth, her Mother, and her Brother that she would help stop these Manti once and for all, and avenge her Brother. Even when she was on the Pluto base doing her last two training missions, she never got to see her Mother, because she was in the safest place that they had on the base. They didn’t want Kyoto to loose her only other sibling that she knew. After that there was the Pluto attack that she took care of, and then the Mars battle where she was still there unconscious. Her life had flashed against her, and after it was all done she slowly awakened. “Huh? What happened?” Memory ”KYOTO LOOK OUT!” A Manti had came out of nowhere and it was charging at Kyoto. Kyoto didn’t even know what was just about to happen. All anyone new was two hits and she’d die in a fiery explosion. A fiery explosion exactly, the same type of one her Brother had died in.
