(cont from Bastian's room)
A smiling Bastian drifts down to glide around the area of the pool. He had just jumped from his balcony and glided over to the area. He touches down and grins.
"Ah, getting better."
He walks over to a switchbox and opens it, revealing a few switches. He flicks a couple and the lights in and around the edge of the pool light up. This is when he notices the tiki torches around the perimiter...
"Ah..."
Just like in his room, he holds out his arms and flicks his wrists up, resulting in each torch igniting. He takes in everything and nods...

"Wow......" Danica smiled, looking around. She'd made her way to the pool area silently, just as he'd finished lighting everything. Stepping out, she looked at all the lit torches, before glancing over at Bastian. "You werent kidding about the lights......."

Bastian grins and walks out on the air above the pool, leaving his boots by a chair.
"Hey, I wasn't really sure if you were gonna show."
He stops in the center of the pool and looks up a moment taking in the slow sunset.

"I figured why not..." She blinked as he simply stood above the pool, figuring she should get use to it. Seeing the sunset she smiled a bit. she was silent for a while, just taking in the sight. She'd never really watched the sun set before. ".....it's beautiful...."

He grins at the warmth in the air...
...Ah...this is great...
He peels off his black shirt, tossing it over by his boots. He then jumps, rising above the water, flips and dives right down into the water, creating only a small splash.

With her eyes glued to the ending sunset, she manages not to blush or stare at him. While he is submerged, she stepped out of her shoes, then sits by the pool side, her legs in the cool water up to her knees. It felt great....she smiled, relaxing, before she looked around, waiting for him to come back up.

The water bubbles a bit and Bastian bursts from the center of the pool. He flies about five feet above the water, flipping and adding acrobatic flourishes to his movements, water seeming to simply trail his movements and remaining suspended in the air...he then goes up a bit more, this time in a spiral. He grins and the water freezes just in that area, so a big ice sculpture is floating in the pool. He jumps from it to land on the high dive. He views his masterpiece and smiles.
"Ah...best one yet."

Danica blinked, then let out a low whistle, then applauded, smiling a real smile for the first time. "Very impressive ^^" Looking at the sculpture, her smile remained. Her usually expressionless blue eyes sparkled a bit.

He looks over to Dani's smile.
...Ah...a genuine smile. Great.
He lives to see smiles. If his only power was to make people smile, that'd be enough for him. He grins and jumps from the platform, spiraling to the water below. He goes under and the now cool water begins to get warmer, causing the ice to melt...

Danica watches his little performance, then watches as the ice melts into the pool. "......Im glad I came down here ^^" If she hadnt, she probably would have been up in her room, moping. It was pretty rare to see, but she still had the smile on her face.

Bastian smiles and steps off the high dive only to get hit by a bolt of lightning. The sheer shock (heh, get it?) sends him flying off to hit the concrete next to the poola dn roll a bit.
A laugh drifts down on the breeze and a man appears standing in the air above the yard near the pool.
"Oh, come now...you were so ready to put up a fight the other day...what happened?"
A smile creeps across the face of the red headed devil, clad in the bottom half of an officer's uniform. A strange shaped mark on his left shoulder glows only slightly...

Danica gasped, not out of worry for herself, but for her new aquiantance. "Bastian!" Scooted away from the pool edge, then hurries over to the crumpled teen by the pool. She sighed. "Well, at least he isnt dead....." She then brought her eyes, which were glaring at the moment, up to the man who's hair was as red as her own.

The red haired man smiles darkly at the girl now glaring at him.
"Ah, hello there. You must be another little friend of my little brother's. Tell me...do you wish to kill me?"
He just laughs.
Bastian groans and sits up, glaring at the man.
"What do you want, Nova?!"
The man laughs again and eyes the two.
"You should have figured that out by now...I just want to play a bit."
He laughs and swiped his hand at the two, sending a large fireball at them.

"This guy is your brother?"
While Danica occasionally envied other mutants for their more....'fun' powers, she was glad, at that moment, for her own powers.....though, this was going to be alittle embarrassing. She moved quickly, shielding Bastian with her body as the fireball hit them. While she felt it burn through most of her clothing, she didnt feel pain, just heat.
She sighed. "Damn it......I really liked this shirt...." The clothing she spoke of was now ruined, and hung in pieces. Her smooth back was bare, and luckily, bcause of the angle, he hadnt gotten to her lower region. THEN she would have been upset. She looked at Bastian, wondering if he'd been burned at all.

He lurns to water and slides out from under Dani, only to return to himself on the other side of her. He takes off his red jacket and drapes it over her to hide her shirt which is just about not there anymore.
He then quickly turns back to a still laughing Nova.
"Kira's not here, Addray! Go back to wherever you came from! We'll not have you here!"
Nova grins.
"Oh, but I was so hoping to have a little fun with my brother's friends..."
Bastian stomps his foot in fury.
"Have fun with this!"
With a loud yell, he slams his hands onto the concrete, the water in the pool vibrating. With a mighty scream, the water in the pool shoots up at Nova, and Bastian jumps in, gliding along inside. The water circles Addray and Bastian lets out solidified punches and kicks here and there...
Addray laughs as he regains himself from the kicks and readhes out to the water and freezes it, causing Bastian to stop his moving around. He grabs Bastian from the ice and throws him down into the frozen pool, sending Ice shards everywhere.
"Aw, is that all you've got? I was hoping for a bit more effort..."
He smiles with a certain amount of sadistic glee.
