For myself, it depends on what kind of mood I am trying to convey.
With
The Mafia I just freehand a brush-tipped pen and draw rather simply with no fancy "camera" angles. Usually the pages turn out ok somehow.
sweatdrop But with
MiasoM, it's a bit more serious in nature so I put more thought into arranging the panels and I outline the frames differently.
Generally I pre-plan how I'm going to layout the pages when I start the series though. I also HATE rulers and cannot for the life of me draw straight-formatted pages. xD;; Unless I formatted the pages on the computer.
