Watch the episode "Different strokes for different blokes" to know why. He's just so cool, and talented. It was so funny when as was like "Whats up with him?" talking to himself like always and Paul was like "Instead of talking to yourself, maybe you should worry about getting out of this forest." For some reason I always think the character who likes to be alone is always the coolest. This Paul guy is the best rival Ash has had yet, way better than that loser Gary.

Kaizuki Paul would own Gary, I mean he owned Ash. He's a new trainer, and he can still go against Ash's lv. 100 Pikachu. Uber PWNage Ash's was level 81 when you fight him in G/S/C, so he's probably like level 89 because he stoped using Pikachu so frequently but then again, he keeps on shocking team Rocket so they "Blast off". I'm not sure that counts as experience but maybe for Meowth. In R/B/Y Meowth was about level 14, even adding all that up, it still wouldn't be that much. But adding all of Jessie and James pokemon are about level 14 because they almost never won a battle. But really, Pikachu would be about level 89 or so. (Atleast by my guess) 4laugh

Of course Paul is the coolest! He's that cocky, emo, jeark, that thinks the hero is weak, but eventually the hero stands up to him and starts to kick some a**. This has happened in other anime to. *cough*Naruto*cough*
But about the Pokemon anime in general I'm starting to like the new season actually.
In the Kanto region I basically loved the show and I was there everytime an episode is shown on CN. Johto was good, but it wasn't as good as the original even if the Pokemon were a bit cooler. Hoenn, ah my most hated region, I hated this season, except for the contest and my favorite character Harley I hated it. Sinnoh is starting to get good to me, but you can't really say much about it.
