.........About Myra
Myra claims to be human, and shows no signs of unusual appearance or powers, aside from being very old. No one's sure how or when she came to Nexis, but she's been an active arena participant for over twenty years, and doesn't seem to have aged a day. She looks to be in her early twenties, but talks as if she were much older, often throwing in cryptic proverbs. She hovers a few inches above the ground when she walks, due to two small wings that float around her ankles. When out and about, she carries an old wooden walking stick with carved wings decorating the handle.
Myra appears with reasonable frequency at small-time races with rookie dragons, training a fair number of talented ones to great heights. But her real claim to fame was ten years ago, when she beat a prominent (and, rumor has it, rather corrupt) dragon master at a Nexis-wide champion match. The dragon that raced had never appeared in the arena before, and hasn't been seen since.
But the strangest thing is that no one knows what the champion dragon, Diogenes, looks like. For some reason, no one could quite recall his appearance after he left the arena, despite his very unusual colouration and design, and no one has ever caught him on film. Myra has always declined requests to explain the Nexis champion's mysterious disappearing act, but assures people that he is alive and well, but not fond of racing in front of a crowd.
When not racing, Myra helps Nexis newcomers find dragons to train, usually hatchlings of unknown parentage that the more "serious" trainers won't touch. Some of these so-called "useless" eggs have gone on to become arena champions, with love and training from their human companions.
She also spends time exploring Nexis, and looking for unusual dragons in the wild. Rumor has it she secretly trains a number of very unusual dragons, preparing eggs of new breeds of dragons for the rest of Nexis.

.........Speed and Scales
Myra runs a small shop, of sorts, called Speed and Scales Dragon Supplies and Practice Racetrack. She helps dragon trainers, primarily young ones, learn about how to race, where to race, and all the nuances and legalities of entering competitions.
She has two shop assistants, Canis and Cindy.
Canis, a tall young man with long white-and-purple hair and angel wings, takes care of dragon care and breeding. He seems to be a lot more fond of dragons than he is of people, who he doesn't seem to like much at all.
Canis posts in blue.Cindy is an eight year old child, with dark skin, huge black ponytails, and a knack with technology. Her right hand is mechanical, a cyborg replacement she made herself. She takes care of the various potions, balms and acessories one can give dragons to influence their biology.
Cindy posts in olive.

- - -Though his trainer is a vetran of the arena, Toxic is a young and inexperienced dragon. He thinks very highly of himself, but he's really nothing special yet, and needs a lot more training before he can live up to the legendary status of Myra's other dragons.- - - Stats: 8 / 6 / 4
Toxic starts his races with a bang, but uses up most of his energy within the first few laps. Though he does great in short sprints, endurance races tire him out and usually leave him in last place.
Friends:
None yet. Toxic has trouble making friends, because he's usually convinced he's better than they are.

Ten years ago, Diogenes entered a Nexis City championship race and won, then disappeared from the racing scene completely. No one knows exactly what he looks like, but his appearance is said to be quite unusual.

.........Other Dragons
Myra trains many other dragons, none of whom make many public appearances. Most are said to be unusual, and rumour has it Myra trains dragons to "test" new subspecies before the rest of Nexis City can adopt and train them.
