Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things.

Numerology and numerological divination were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics by most scientists. This is similar to the historical development of astronomy out of astrology, and chemistry from alchemy.

Today, numerology is often associated with the occult, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts. The term can also be used for those who, in the view of some observers, place excess faith in numerical patterns, even if those people don't practice traditional numerology.

Numerology Steps

1) First: add the numbers together of the first name, reduce if needed.
EXAMPLE: M I C H E L L E

4 9 3 8 5 3 3 5 = 4+9+3+8+5+3+3+5 = 40 = 4+0 =4

2) Next: add the numbers together of the second name, reduce if needed
EXAMPLE: T R E S S I E

2 9 5 1 1 9 5 = 2+9+5+1+1+9+5 = 32 = 3+2 = 5

3) Next: add the numbers together of the last name, reduce if needed.
EXAMPLE: I V E N S

9 4 5 5 1 = 9+4+5+5+1 = 24 = 2+4 = 6

4) Now: add all final numbers together, reduce if needed.
4+5+6 = 15 = 1+5 = 6

6 is the destiny number of the name above!

Each number represents that letter in the name and that is how we get our equations.

You can use either your Destiny Number, Birth Number or both to determine your Magickal name. Here is an example:

Luna = 6
Rain = 3

Luna Rain would be a good name for the person used previously. Or just Luna or just Rain. Get the idea?

Numbers are magical, they hold special powers, that part I am not able to explain.

Numerology is a way to combine the numbers that your real name becomes to create a name you want.

So lets say your number is 6 and 3 like the example, then what you do is think of names that you like like Luna Rain and then do the numerology for the name to figure out if it matches, and if it matches than that can be your magic name.

L-U-N-A = 3+3+5+1 = 12 = 1+2=3

Each letter is represented by a number so you add the numbers that each letter represents and see what number comes out in the end but you CANNOT have double digits so if you get 12 you have to add 1+2.

R-A-I-N = 9+1+9+5=24=2+4=6

Now see how both have the same numbers that were originally discovered with the persons name, that means if the person really feels connected to the name Luna Rain then well it meets with their Destiny number.

Keep in mind though that numerology is NOT the only way to get a magical name. Another way of finding a magic name is to combine three things you like (three is a powerful number) for example

Avalorea = Ava-Avalon, Lor-Lore as in fantasy and such, Ea-as in fea folk.

And yet another way of finding a magical name is just what feels right to you, or something that came to you in a dream or out of the blue.
