Lenora rode through the forests around Rivendell. She wasn't sure where she was going, but she didn't really care. She knew that the world was dangerious and even more so for a lone elf woman wondering Middle Earth, but it was the danger she longed for..in fact, she welcomed it. Soon..danger came.
The wolves had been following Lenora for a long time and she was very aware of them. Her horse was getting nervous as they came closer. Lenora rested her hand on the hilt of her sword and waited for the attack. It came fast..too fast. The horse reared, sending the pale elf falling onto the ground. She quickly jumped up and began her own attack. The sword sliced into the fur and skin of the nearest wolf, making it yelp and run away. Another jumped at her..too fast for Lenora to react with her sword. She grabbed at the wolf's head..trying to pull it back. As she did so, her powers began to come into effect. The wolf's blood slowly began to form ice crystals, making the wolf yelp in great pain. In less then a minute the entire wolf was solid ice. The other wolves decided they wanted nothing more to do with this strange elf and ran back into the woods.
Lenora pushed the iced wolf off of her and crawled to the nearest tree, resting against it. Her horse had run off at the begining of the battle and she was left alone. She sighed and closed her eyes, the stratches on her skin burning as a reminder of what just occured. And so she sat, pondering what to do next.

Eowiweth rode at a small trout through the woods on her horse. Her thoughts wandered to her brother and the long search she had started to find him. She assumed she would probably be lost in the quest forever but the stone on her neck pieced her heart when she thought of giving up. She hated the stones. They had brought nothing but evil to her life. Yet... she couldn't find herself getting rid of them.
Eowiweth's thoughts were interrupted by a noise the right of her. She heard growling and then a woman's voice.
"Great..." She sighed. She could never let anyone go on in pain. she turned her horse around and went back. As she came close to the scene she noticed a lady in blue silk gown, leaning against a tree beside her a frozen wolf.
Interesting... she thought. Eowiweth demounted and slowly approached the lady. "Are you alright?"

Lenora heard the horse approach and at first thought it was her own, then she looked up and saw a human woman approach her. Her hand tightened around her sword until the woman spoke. She slowly got up and tried to make herself look better then she knew she appeared, brushing off dirt and such from her gown.
She smiled a little at the woman..trying to appear as though nothing was wrong. "Oh yes, I'm fine. Had a little wolf attack, but..they are gone now. Though, I seem to have lost my horse. You haven't seen one by any chance?"

Eowiweth looked at the wound the woman had.
"If there is a horse around here I should be able to call her for you. You are hurt though. Do you think you should still ride?"

Lenora looked down at her arm, a big, bloody scratch ran from her shoulder to her elbow. She shook her head and then smiled at the woman. "I've had worse, but I do suppose I should clean it. You...can call my horse for me?"

"Yes I can. I grew up on the Plains of Rohan. We are the horsemasters. What is her name?" Eowiweth pulled a pack out from her waist belt and handed it to her. "This has some scraps of cloth you can use to wrap your wound. But I'm sorry.. I don't have much in the way of medicine. Maybe the elves may."

Lenora nodded and took the pack and began to wrap her wound. "Her name is Yevon. I do believe there is a small creek up ahead...that will be fine enough to clean it. There is always moss growing near water." She stopped and once again looked at the woman. "Thank you for your help."

"I couldn't ignore the sounds I heard. My mind wouldn't have been at rest if I had." Eowiweth stepped into the open area of the woods and whistled with a sharp sound. Soon there was clammering in the distances and a horse appeared. "Yevon?" she asked looking at the woman. "Is this your horse?" She took the reins of the horse and handed them to the lady. "My name is Eowiweth. I'm a ranger of the Dunedain. Well.. sorta..." She smirked. "I lived with them for several years."
Eowiweth looked down at the wolf then back at the woman. "And you.. who may you be?"

Lenora's eyes grew wide when her horse appeared..she nodded and took the reins..glad her horse was alright. She petted Yevon's nose and turned to face the woman. "Well, I thank you again. 'Tis a pleasure to meet you. I am Lenora..from Rivendell." Well...kind of..but she left that part out and went back to petting her horse.

"You have a interesting gift Lenora. What business do you have out here traveling alone?" Eowiweth looked around the forest as sounds came from a unknown source. "I would not recommend you being out here as it is coming on dusk. There are other things that travel here because friends. Are you going to Rivendell now? I am heading that way and you are more then welcome to accompany me. It would be a good place for you also to heal."

"I was actually leaving." Lenora looked around as well..for she also heard the sound. "But I do suppose I should return and get cleaned up and heal a bit before continuing on. I will gladly join you." She sheathed her sword and mounted.

"Good. Perhaps next time you will be able to start you journey earlier." Eowiweth mounted and started towards Rivendell. "Do you know of Elrond? I've come to speak to him."

Lenora smiled and nodded. "Yes..I know of him. He used to scold me for running in the gardens." She laughed a little.

"Good. Perhaps you can lead me to him. I have business I wanted to discuss with him. Why were you leaving Rivendell?" Eowiweth glanced at Lenora for a second then put her attention back on the trail.

"Yes..I can take you to him. I'm leaving because...my life is so boring. One can only sit in a garden and sip tea for so long." Lenora yawned at the thought.
