I find this very neat. It has Katakana with Hiragana with Romaji. It may be hard to understand, but look for a while. you will understand.

ButterflySins where do you find this stuff? i've been working on learning japanese for a couple years now i never found stuff like this. I've had the same problem. They don't teach Japanese at my school so I had to teach myself to read and write domokun .

Thats kick a**. You should make a thread with little sayings that might be helpfull. Like...GOHAN would be like 'RICE' or 'COOKED' so if your staying at someones house in Japan ( Like me ) that usually means the foods ready... Ya' know?

I knew there were some katakana I was missing! I've always hard a hard time figuring out exactly which sounds the accents made the symbols. This helps immensly! <33

hey if you want to test your Hiragana and katakana you could go to google and type kana trainer. the first link is a very good one to learn and keep up your knowledge

I've started to learn kana from a handbook I bought and it's really useful! I'm going to take japanese lessons finally next year and I'm preparing for that wink That'll help me out a lot if I can test my skills a bit biggrin
