Its the back city. The dumps. The bad place. Slums. The rat hole of Cantrell. Whatever you wanted to call it, it was bad. Gangs and homless people infested the area, crowding arround small trashcan bonfires at night. Prostitues littered the streets, beaten and broken by their pimps, who were the only ones that had any money arround here. This area was the worst of the worst. You had to really be in deep to live here. But sometimes, it was all you had. In one part of the slum, there was an abandoned junkyard, at one point it was where the homeless kids went, easy shelter in some of the less beat up cars. But recently a gang took hold of it, driving them all out. The rest of the slums consisted of cheap pawn shops, and run down or half torn down buildings. It was hard to live here, but you had to start somewhere.
Rules:
No godmoding, please. I will eat your head.
Fighting is allowed, but dont kill the other's charicther unless they give consent.
Romance is allowed, but dont go overboard with it gonk
Please dont show up here with some snazzy iPod and driving a benz. Even the pimps arent that rich, just keep it in setting and in charichter.
I reserve the rights to add rules as I see fit

Nekedra lay in the remains of an old apartment building. She had two torn blankets covering her small frame, she cuddled close to herself, retaining warmth. Her black hair hung in mats arround her face, she let it out of its usuall low ponytail, so it could keep her neck and face warm ish whist she attempted sleep. Nekedra had been on the streets for 10 years, which was a little more then half her life. She had been alone only two, her mother died in a driveby when she was 15. Since then, she fended for herself, even if she found it hard at times. Did she try to find a job? Yeah. But nobody hired filth like her. And she refused to sell herself for money. She'd seen the state the prostitues were in, and she didnt like it one bit.
She opened her eyes aginst the cold, they were a deep brown, and had seen years of hardships. But she didnt cry or mope over it. At least she was alive, that was the way she looked at it.

Personality: Spunky, never gives up in a fight.
Bio: Lennie was once a prestigious student, never got a question wrong. Then she started to take drugs. One of her friends slipped crack into her drink and Boom, she was addicted. She went all through college, and no one knew the difference. One day, she went to get a job and had to do a drug test. Just mere hours before, she'd taken crack to soothe her nerves and she ended up failing the test. She then went into a deep depression and started on heroine and other drugs. She waisted away her money.
Apperance: She was once beautiful, the drugs have rotted her teeth and thinned her once long, thick, black hair. Her skin is pasty white and she wears normal hobo clothing.

Tamashi walked around the dump she pretty much called home since this is all she had left. She has so far been here for only two years, but it was better then getting hurt. She pulled the tattered up blanket more over herself as she walked. She didn't want to go near any of the fires that was burning since the last time she did they attacked her. She looked around a bit. In the couple of years there she still had not made any friends that lived here.
