There is a tale that has been spoken of for many years, and passed on from generation to generation. The tale was brought to the people and passed down from a simple Pagan Family, The Avonia Family. The Golden Goddess Statue was once held under the protection of the Avonia family..
The Children of the Goddess were sent gifts as they were sent to the earth, gifts to remind them of the Mother Goddess. Statues, candles, stones and incense were only some of the treasures bestowed upon the Children of the Goddess. The treasures were meant to be kept in great care and great honor, though they were not meant to be worshipped and if they were worshipped than the true meaning of the treasure would be forgotten. The Golden Goddess Statue is said to hold great mysteries and kownledge, each gift would hold knowledge and mysteries that would be discovered when the time was right.
The statue holds the truth of who the Pagan people are. And he who holds the statue holds the very powers of the cosmos in their hands alone. The statue is as beautiful as it is powerful, she is the size of a small childs doll and she is cast from pure gold making her worth a kings ransome. She is the only remaining piece of true Pagan treasure left on earth.
Sadly the Golden Goddess Statue was stolen from the Avonia family many years ago, since the statue has been missing the Pagan faith has began to deplete and they have gone underground in fear of punishment from the Churches and the people who feel the Pagan Ways are wrong and satainic, the misconceptions have created a great fight between the Pagan folk and those who follow under the laws of the Church.
Now a group of Pagan folk, young and old are seeking out the location of the missing Golden Goddess Statue they seek her out through dangers and horrors that are often unthinkable and frightening. They seek out the statue because without it the hope for the Pagan people is lost for all of eternity and the churches will overtake the faiths, thus sending the Children of the Goddess into hiding and then slowly into extinction.

The sky was blue and not a cloud was in sight, the sunlight glistened on the pond that stood in the center of the garden where Kaida sat. She watched a pair of robins peck at the ground searching for food. Indigo her horse was laying not to far from her. She knew the quest would soon begin, she knew she should be on her way but she was afraid of travelling alone, she knew there were others that would join her on her quest but the thought of the journey frightened her, she did not know what to expect out there on the path to the Golden Goddess Statue, she did not even know where to begin her search. No one knew where the statue was, it had been gone for many years, even before she or her parents were even born but through the years many people went on the path to seek out the statue but none survived, or at least none returned home to tell of their travells. These thoughts sent shivers down Kaida's spine "Indigo, I am afraid, I really and truly am."

Indigo lifted her head and snorted in understanding. Indigo got up off the forest floor and went towards Kaida and nudged her. Kaida smiled and laughed "Thank you my friend, I needed that." She stroked the horses soft velvety nose as it nuzzled her. "I wonder who will join us in this journey? I wonder if I will be the youngest." She shrugged her shoulders, there were more things she wondered about but none she spoke aloud, she wished she could close her eyes and just know where the statue was, but sadly it was not that simple. Without the statue her people would surely be a forgotten faith. Tears welled in her eyes at the thought of the last of her kind. She choked back the sobs and wiped the tear away. The breeze caught her blonde hair and tossed it about. "The winds are changing Indigo, that is not usually a good sign." She sat silently and listened to that which was around her for anymore signs. It was silent, to silent, usually the birds would be singing their melody but suddenly all was dead quiet. "Indigo we must leave, there is something in the air and I fear it is dangerous." She patted her horse who got up and shook all over for a moment. Kaida climbed onto her horses bareback and they rode swiftly through the forest. Then she heard it, a noise unknown to her, a noise that brought sorrow to her heart. "Indigo stop!" she shouted to her horse, and as she did this her horse reared up onto its hind legs and stopped in an instant.
