ok ..... Blue moon only happens every 2 1/2 years. Sometimes theres even two blue moons in one year, always in Jan. and Mar. with the full moon skipping feb. altogether. Two blue moons in one year only happen about 4 times a centry and last happen in 1998 or 99. Blue moons are a good time to make special wishes and such other than that it treated like a normal full moon for the most part as far as my reasearch shows... you figure out the astrological correspondances and go from there. Basically it just means you have to push back the normal esbat ritual, if your rituals a moon specific, and save it till the rightful moon. if you do the same ritual for every full moon and just vary the kind of magic done during the ritual... then do your normal ritual and cast that extra special spell you've been saving for a special occasion.
However... The blue moon happen on May 31 of this year.... so we missed it..... the next one won't be untill Dec. 2009. but then I guess that depends on where you live... If you're from the U.S. It was in May. If your from Australia or anyplace east of the Greenwich Merridian then it'll be in June..... it's confusing.... Go here they explain it better.
