 1. No excessive swearing, sexual content, or spam on the boards. Keep things PG-13 and don't spam. This is a literacy guild.
2. If a thread is already made. Don't make another one like it. An example of this would be "LOTR movies" and then someone else makes "Lord of the rings movies".
3. Be polite to users. If someone breaks the rules just tell them nicely and remind them or redirect them to the rules.
4. Member harassment will not be tolerated. You'll be banned if this is investigated and found out true.::RPG RULES::

2. No killing of other members characters This is refered to as god-modding. This isn't allowed. However if someone says they want you to and the character belongs to them that is ok.
3. Start off with only three characters at a time. Its important that you pay attention to your characters and not just make them one after another. You may play flat characters (characters that don't have alot of depth to them) without making a character sheet. But if they start showing up alot more then a few times then maybe you want to develop them and make a character sheet for them.
4. Please do not god-mod Don't play other people's characters(talking for them or making their actions). This doesn't mean only characters. If a the quest leader has something planned for a RPG you may offer them some ideas you have to make things interesting. But if you've joined their RP please keep in mind their plans.
5. No Arguing in the RPG threads If you have any trouble with another member please work it out between the two of you and not let it take over the game. If it still continues the you may fill out a report form about the member and the issue will be investigated.
6. You can not be anything outside of the Lord of the Rings books such as (witches, Demons, and Drows, etc...) This is a RPG rule.
7. Dragons, high mystical creatures are not allowed. You can play a dragon as a flat character sometimes, but you can not create one as a character sheet or indepth character.
8. End your RPG's If you start a rpg you should end. However we understand if life issues come up. If this is the problem please make sure your write in the thread you'll be leaving for awhile (time when you'll be back would be good.) Or you may also ask a member to take over the charge of your quest.
9. Characters can't have lots powers. Character sheets have to be approved if the we see you have too much extreme powers such as healing, telepath, can kill 20 people with a single potion, all-in-one then they may ask you lower it to just one power. If your a wizard we will allow that you can kill up to five people in one blow of magic no more.
10. Romantic relationships are allowed between characters but remember to keep everything clean. Nothing over PG-13. Which means no sex scenes.
11. Talking out of character should be done in like this: ((Hey I'm gone this weekend)) There should be not excessive out of character discussions. If you want to discuss things go to the discussion forum.
12. RPG is done in Storybook style. Which means don't use ** for actions. Just write in normal paragraphs with quotes for dialogue.
13. You can be book and movie characters. Look on the list to make sure they aren't taken yet. Also if you are going to be them you need to show how well you can protray them in your character bio or it won't be accepted.

2. Post it with the title: "Character: NAME OF YOUR CHARACTER"
3. Once it has been put up, the captain or crew will look it over and agree that it looks fine. You'll then be added to the active character list.

Name: Gibur
Homeland: Lonely Mountains
Description: Long brown bread and hair. Muscular arms. Wares Dwaven attire and is short but normal for a dwarf.

Race: Dwarf
Weapons/powers/skills (optional): An ax from his father
History: Gibur's father was a mighty warrior and fought in the battle of the Five Armies. He taught Gibur to be just as good, teaching him everything he knew about fighting and being a Dwarf. The thing his father didn't tell him was that they family had a large amount of treasure buried by his Father's father in the Mine of Moria. After his father's death Gibur found the map his father kept from him, under his bed. It is told to be filled with mithril. Gibur's eyes had gone wide at the news and has forever wanted to search out the treasure. His father didn't tell him about the treasure for some reason but it didn't matter. He would get it.
Sample post (needs to be 2-3 paragraphs or more): Gibur ready his ax, sharpening it as much as he could for his long journey. He was leaving his home and family but knew he would be back much richer then before. To them he was only going to visit the Mines of Moria. But to him he was going to find his family's lost treasure. His sister came in with a back pack of goods and supplies for him.
"Remember to be safe. I not be wanting ye to be comin' back in a bag." She said helping to place it on his shoulders. "The Mines are still run over by the Orcs. Its dangerous. I wish you wouldn't go alone." Gibur turned to his sister and smiled jolly.
"Fear not! When I return you'll have what ever you want! A party will be held and drinks and food will be on me. I shall return." He answered smiling even large. "I shall be off."
"Return soon brother!" She called at him as he left out the door.

 ::HOW TO REPORT A USER::
Only report users if they:
1. Break the rules excessively
2. God-mod excessively
3. Are harassing
4. There is a personal issue needing to be fixed.
*Being reported doesn't mean that player will be banned. Investigations will go into finding out what happened and why and there will talks with the user. Banning is a last resort.

After reporting let the guild captain and crew deal with the issue and forget it happened. Know that we are solving it and you've done your part.
