His Holiness, The Dalai Lama came to visit my city yesterday. I was unable to go to hear him speak. so I was wondering, has any one heard him speak before? Does any one want to? And what are your thoughts about him/what China have said?

I would have dearly loved to have listened to His Holiness, the Dalai Lama speak. I was intending to go to the town hall to hear the free address to the public, but decided a few nights before hand that it was too cold and would be too crowded to go. It was canceled anyway. However, I have been eagerly scouring the papers for articles on his tour.

He is such a beautiful person. I would have dearly loved to have heard him speak. The guy I work with had the honor of being able to go to see him speak. He said that His Holiness' speech was indescribable. However, I figure, if I was supposed to have heard him speak this time around, then I would have been able to go...

I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to anyone that was present. But I do believe that he does indeed have a wonderful sense of humor and compassion.

The Dalai Lama walks into a piza shop and says "make me one with everything".
I think he's awesome. The way he smiles. There's something he knows that we don't.

~Angelic_Fallen~ I have an easter egg that was blessed by him. I've got one too. I'm so tempted to devour it, but my theory is that it's blessedness will last longer in a wrapper beside a neko statue than in my stomach.

That "Harry Potter" freak at my school was prancing around yelling "The Dalai Lama's here!" I smacked him out.
1) He should call him "His Holiness" if he claims to be the kind of religious person that he is.
2) He's a wanker.
