I have yet to meet a person who doesn't like at least one movie Johnny Depp has been in. Anyone have a specific favorite?

I've seen:
Benny and Joon Pirates of the Caribbean Edward Scissorhands Secret Window Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Corpse Bride
My favorite is probably...Secret Window...probably. As for favorite character he played...that's a cross between Jack and Sam. (I know, my list is pathetic compared to most people's. Unfortunately some of the others are too high rated thoug -_-).

Believe me, it's the first R movie I plan on watching. But I'm still getting used to being able to watch PG-13 movies - some of which I still refuse to. I love the song Mad World. ^^

Yeah, some aren't rated too bad. There's one Mom gave me to watch that is just R for language. It's generally everything besides language that's the issue, though. I like violent movies/games, but for some reason I have issues with eyes...I can watch a character rip his head off, but someone holds a knife too close to their face and I cringe. But yeah, I'm fourteen, so there's quite a bit I can't watch for a while.

Ah, your not that young. I watched plenty of violent things when I was that young. But, nasty gory movies, I don't do. Like, hannibal or whatever it's called. Anyting particularly scary. The last scary movie I watched was The Grudge, and I couldn't sleep without my lights on for a month. I couldn't even open my closet. XD I'm such chicken s**t. lolz

I've been contemplating The Grudge for a while, but it seems like some people like it and others hate it. I think there's a movie that follows the original story better, though, so I might check into that. Yeah, Hostel and Saw are two I will NEVER see - and people wonder where killers get such disgusting ideas from? Have you ever seen any of the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer? There's these...things, called The Gentlemen... '_'

Eh, the Japanese version is way freaking scarier. I almost pissed my pants watching that shizz. XD but I hate scary movies in general. And most killers get their ideas from movies.
If you ever read the book, The Lord of the Flies, you'll understand what I mean. I mean, where else do you think children get bad language and attitude from? Media, of course. And movies the Chucky, and SAW aren't helping it either. XD

I love scary movies - just not torture films or eye-related scenes. I guess The Grudge will be waiting a while either way then - thanks for the warning. ^^'

Actually, the Gentlemen were second worst for me, now that I think about it. There's this one thing in the show that lingers around hospitals and can only be seen by kids with a fever - it drains their life. Of course, it doesn't tell you HOW it goes about this until you see it. It's a good thing it was quick, because it was flat out disturbing. -_- You sound a lot like one of my pen-pals. She likes intense movies, but not really scary ones.
