Forewarning: This is based off the Grim and Mandy/Nightmare Before Christmas Fancomic 'Grim Tales From Down Below', and as such, it is advised that you read up to the end of Chapter 3 (Thusly, that you read all of it).

I am the Grim Reaper...

... I am death personified.

My real name is Grim Junior, and my father, Grim Senior, was the original reaper... I rule over the underworld as a king of sorts, a lord whom not only has to worry about ruling his kingdom, but expanding it... Being the Grim Reaper does mean that I have a task to uphold, the task of taking the souls of the dead to this hellish place...

... But I am a just ruler. I do not wish for death to spread across the lands, which is why I have returned to the surface with my children, Rodo and Min...

Something rotten has been going on in Halloween Town, and so I've arranged a trip to go there for this year's festival. I also sent invitations to Minnimandy and a few of my closer lords... Dad's locked himself up in some research tower, insisting that he must study the works of the arcane to prevent some major catastrophe... As for Mom, she's been causing some havoc on Earth, you know, the usual thing... So I'm taking it the two of them won't be making it this year. Oh well, Uncle Jack can go through Halloween without them... He's done it before.

What I'm really worried about, though, is that dastardly Oogie Boogie... He and his minions haven't been heard from in a while, which adds onto my suspicion that something isn't right... They have to be scheming up some plan. I just pray that Min and Rodo don't get tangled up in this mess... Those two already lost their mother, they don't need to lose each other, but I must also take caution of Min's jealousy...

o1. The Following are the ONLY Cannons available from TNBC: Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Lock, Shock, Barrel, Zero.
o2. The following are the ONLY Cannons available from The Grim Tales From Down Below: Grim Jr., Minimandy, Nergal (Senior), and Nergal Jr.
o3. The following Miscellanious Cannons will serve as some of the Lords: Spawn (Lord of Malebolgia, Origin: Spawn), Nightmare (Lord of Oblivion, more neutral than in Soul Calibur, Origin: Soul Edge Series), Malik/Marik (Lord of Cryptos, Origin: Yu-Gi-Oh!), and Ishizu (Lady of Cryptos).
o4. All other characters must be original.
o5. Grim Jr. has two children, one of which is already taken (the son, Rodo). He will not have any more children. Minimandy may have children, but this will be decided when and if she is played by someone.
o6. Abide by all Gaia ToS.
o7. This Role Play is of literate caliber. Thusly, I expect all of the following:
I. Well typed posts of five complete sentences or more.
II. Proper literate etiquette (No GMing, PPing, etc.).
III. Posts with few to no typos and proper punctuation.
IV. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Size 8-10 font with a legible color (No white or yellow).
o8. To join, PM all profiles to me with the words 'Innocent Sacrifice' in the title of your PM.
o9. Take note, this RP takes place twenty years after the events of Grim Tales From Down Below. Lock, Shock, and Barrel have likely grown up by now.
1o. Speaking of which, to apply as a certain character, follow the instructions below:

Premades: Characters I have created to fill needs of the storyline. To apply as a premade, use the form I have filled out partially for that premade (some areas, like sexual preference, may not be filled and require your input). Once you have filled in all incomplete areas, send the form back to me and wait for me to tell you that you have been either accepted or rejected.

Cannons: The profiles work the same as premades, except that you will need to fill out all of the information. In the case of Grim Jr., try to fit to his story that I have laid down. Anyone else that you take should have a brief history of their actions prior to his RP and some recent ones (the actions prior being accurate by terms of the games/comics/etc they have been in, while the most recent actions can be improvised by the players themselves). Send the completed product to me, and nine times out of ten you'll be accepted.

Made Ups: These characters created by you will be your responsibility. Fill out the forms with their information and make sure they do not clash with the storyline, then send the profile to me and await approval.

Race: Nergal Demon
Personality: Quiet and soft-spoken, Rodo has always been a rather shy individual. He rarely speaks to girls (aside from his sister, whom he cherishes dearly), and he commonly makes a 'better use of his time' by training in the arts of dance, sword fighting, singing, etc. He, in most common terms, is considered a male version of Minimandy, innocent and yet intellectual... However, he isn't as long-winded in speech as she happens to be.
Bio: The younger of the two Reaper Siblings, Rodo developed an interest in many disciplines and, for his effort to pursue them (and his success in perfecting many talents), praise fell upon the boy's head. He bonded with his aunt, Minimandy, and learned many things from her bout the world, including what made him so different from his sister, whom was born into the family as a skeleton like their father. He has, in secret, been taking training from his aunt to manifest his abilities, and from her, he received an object passed down from her uncle, Nergal Jr, a piece of the legendary Soul Edge. He keeps this cursed shard hidden on his person at all times.

... As for his relations with his sister, well... He treasures her above all else and will do anything to defend her. Though the feeling is not mutual, he has learned to accept his sister's jealousy... To a point.
