Okay... Me thinks we need a few more characters to explore around here so I decided to open this discussion on the Head of the Wizard's Conclave, Par Salin.

Some think he's a great man, some think he's a meddlesome old goat. Here we can agree to disagree and voice why we think the way we do.

As for me... I still think he's an old goat who sticks his nose where it don't need to be. I hated him after reading the Chronicles and Legend trillogies, but then after reading Soulforged and Brother's in arms... my oppinion went even LOWER of him... if that were even possible.
And for the record... I tend to refer to him as "Parsley" for some reason. *shrug*

HE DID IT ALL ON PURPOSE! He manipulated Raistlin's test so Raistlin's test in a gamble that Raistlin would meet Fisty-lich and be strong enough to challenge Takhisis later on. And he wasn't entirely sure she was making a move for power!

And then... while Raistlin was weak and pretty much dieing from the test, he put the curse on his eyes in hopes of teaching him "compassion"? What the HELL?!
