I've tossed it around, and I'm thinking a $20-$30 secret santa exchange has great support. For those of you unaware, with secret santa, everyone gets the name of another person to buy a gift for. The catch I'm running into is that quite a few people would be paranoid about giving out addresses online. I don't have a good solution for that, outside of swearing that I'll only release your address to the person that gets your name.
So, if you're interested in participating, drop a note here. Shipping will cut into the gift dollars spent on you, but that is a risk assumed by entering.
Gifts should be shipped to the person you are to buy for some time BEFORE christmas. C&Ters are not to leak their assignments, and everyone's gifting assignments will be listed on Christmas day. The posting of the assignment list is simply to discourage receiving a gift and not giving. Deadbeats will be identified and banninated from anyplace I have access ^^
Gifts should be appropriate for the audience. No alcohol or pr0n for minors, etc. etc. I shouldn't have to say this. Maybe I'm just warning myself. wink
This Secret Santa operation is open ONLY to C&T regs. More specifically, only to members of this guild. If you are interested in participating, please comment and I'll be in touch this week to collect shipping addresses and e-mail addresses.

Tel Janin I might be in if I can swing the 30$ $20-$30. I put the range in there because $20 is at the upper limit of the convenience range for the jobless. Goes up to $30 so the job-ful can be a bit more creative -- finding $20 gifts is a little tough if you want to find something particularly clever or unique.
