We're looking into a new venue. All the DJs have had it with the "new" gaia. No one clicks links and everyone's basically an a**.
So if you know an MMO, or another website, or ANYTHING. That maybe a good venture to have a radio let us know.
Now please note: We're not going to radio for your personal site that gets maybe 5 hits per day.
The Djs want higher listener counts. Now do I expect 80 listeners a night? Nah. However barley having 15? We just need to change.
So we DON'T alienate our loyal listeners we are asking you what else do you do besides Gaia? Because I seriously doubt someone gets online checks there mail goes on gaia for 5 hours and calls it quits. So what else do you do? What MMOs do you play? What other forums do you visit? Etc.
Update: I am curently checking out CoH/CoV the reason for this? FREE TRIAL.
Game is 30$ for both CoH/CoV or you can be cheap and go with just villains or just heroes.
Monthly is as follows: 14.99 / month

Well, I play Ragnarok Online, but there might be too much drama even to start up a radio station for there. I'm sure a lot of people might listen though. I know of at least 50 people that I'm sure would listen. Monthly: $12/month
The open beta starts on Granado Espada (Sword of the New World) on the 15th of June, so I don't know if you want to go there or what.

City of heros and villans is a really dumb game, I'd say we advertise a little more more around the site before we go into other places, after all. It is gaianradio.
Instead of relyingon the GD users like we did before, why don't we expand to other forums?
Even the chatterbox would probably listen, and the music forum for sure.
Now, I'll start advertising in different guilds and start joining other onesand advertising. Why don't we just do that before expanding to another thing?
Seriously.
If we get enough people to do what I'm doing, as long as it's not annoying or spam, we'll have a good reputation and loads of listeners.
Why not initiate some type of "spreading the word" campaign.
the only places I've seen anything for gradio is in the GD and the guild forum, and occasionally the GCD. Now. Still followingthe rules, you can still advertise because we are gaia-theme based. Once yougo into that area where you're not really gaia-themed, we'll lose what users we have and compromise us being able to use the site to get new listeners for gradio.
Just a thought.

CoH/V is, by a LONG SHOT, a better "community" than gaia.

Final Fantasy 11 anyone?
Since no one's a fan of my thought, Final Fantasy 11 has great gameplay and a very tight knit community.
You can make a char in many servers now, and it's really easy to switch from what I hear.
Also, the fanbase of all FF's are HUGE, so yeah.

I'm not doing to pick a free mmo - because who knows how long it's gonna be around. On top of that they suck.
I've been toying around with CoH/CoV and it's fun. I already made Super Sayain Goku. Who is over 9000. It has a lot of possibilities. PVP, Raids, Bases,Character Design, etc.
From what I understand there is a mac version. I'll have to get clarification on that though.
Plus they have a free 14 day trial from www.mmorpg.com So everyone can try it out before we decide anything. I want all games we try out to have trials so we as DJs can decide. I'd like to see some listeners come over too.
If anyone makes there trial for CoH/CoV - IM me on AIM. Gaian Radio

He probably had straight up CoV
We are doing CoH/V
When you go to Paragon city, after reaching PVP lvl, (Which is 20) It gets good, its like a free for all. xD
As for final fantasy,
It sounds good, I LOVE TEH MOOGLEZ.
But there is no trial. D:
So I dont know what its like.
