I saw the trailer recently, and it definitely looks worth checking out. I might download it and watch it before buying it just to be safe, but I thing it oughta be quite good.

just watched it, and it was everything i hoped it would be. turns out that David Abramoqitz wrote it, and Jim Byrnes voices two of the characters (one of whom is missing a leg).
pretty ******** awesome.

Pretty good. Definitely better than The Source.
I thought the language, violence and sex were a little too much, but otherwise the HL franchise benefited from the move to anime. Colin was a pretty good hero and Moya/Dahlia made good heroines. The story is typical HL, especially considering it came from David Abramowitz. Using biological weapons to wipe out the unwanted populace is relevant and fits in with past ideas.
Jim Byrnes did an excellent job and like previously posted, his character's also missing a leg. Har har.
I wasn't disappointed, especially after The Source. This movie delivered. I thought the new style and pace suited where Highlander can still go, even after 22 years. (My age = Same as Highlander the movie).
Worth watching, very good.

Kratos Krisna rolled 10 10-sided dice:

Total: 69 (10-100)

I wikied it (after I bought it, and I learned of a director's cut, complete with a traditional expositional opening. I showed the DVD to my College Anime club and my Highlander fan mother, and poth parties enjoyed it. Anime fans like it, Highlander fans like it, and there are a number of AMVs drawing from it on the internet. THat says it did it's job spectacularly. Although if you saw Highlander: the Source (I wikied it and hated it instantly) and still have any feeling for this franchise, this should really float your boat.
