Battlemaster: XRagdollXagX
The water is black and murky, its depths are invisible to the naked eye. Whether its depth is only a few inches, or a mile is impossible to discern. Gnarled trees , the occasinal slithering amongst the exposed rootswith as they arch above the slow moving water. Mosquitoes buzz lazily in the heat and and fat toads flick their tongues out at them as they buzz by. Dragonflies buzz across the surface of the water, bouncing and leaving widening circles where their bodies touch. Swamp moss hangs from the trees in long, brownish webs like decaying lace. The surface of the water is covered in an pale yellow mist that trails eerily across the surface, between the naked roots and reaching finger-like tendrils onto the small islet-like clumps of dry land. There is a rotting dock, with vines substituting the ropes that once made the banister. The only way to safely cross the swamp is by boat. Three crooked boats are tethered to the dock, one is partially submerged in water, but the other two are intact.
