Read this short definition page and you'll understand the Debating Hall sub-forum a lot more, believe me!
First of all, how do you tell the difference between a post that is a debate and an extended discussion?
Well, well...A post that is an extended discussion will just contain words, but a post that is a debate will contain these [ ]
Example of debate post: "[recruiting] Expelling Drug Addicts from School"
Example of extended discussion: "Expelling Drug Addicts from School"
So what does this [ ] thing in the debating post mean?
[recruiting] = the author is searching for participants for the debate
[on-going] = the debate has started and people are currently debating
[deciding] = the debate has ended and need your vote to decide which side wins!
[fin.] = the winner is decided and the post is there for you to read for pleasure
*There should not be any interferances from people who are not debating while a debate is "on-going". If this happens, a Crew will delete your post and give a warning PM to you. But once the debate is at its "deciding" stage or beyond, others may post comments about it.
