Since our Dream Avatar Contest is over, is there another event that everyone would like to do? I don't really have any ideas yet, so I'm open to suggestion. 3nodding blaugh

A themed avi event is a good idea.... we'll have to see if there might be some interest in that one... I kind of like it. 3nodding

I think there should be a house contest. There are many nice combinations you can make when designing a house. We should get the people who compete to take a screenshot of their home and post it, then rate them. It would be very interesting to see what they can do with their homes.

I don't know anything about events. What exactly would be required? I mean I haven't been on here very long, so don't have a lot of gold. Does that mean I wouldn't have a chance in a contest?

Generally if I do an event on here, thats a contest, its usually free, or very little amount of gold. The one time I charged a fee, it was 4 or 500 gold... not much. Usually I make it free though, so no worries. If we have an event, I'll make sure that the rules are very clear.

I just started a themed avatar event on the Moderators's Guild. The avatars are done in Tektek.org only, so no gold has to be used for anyone.
We are Tektek'ing Autumn themed avatars, golds/oranges/reds/greens/yellows- like autumn leaves. The only hitch is, I don't want to see any complete sets only. I want imagination. I gave a sample avatar, and of course, being the Captain and the originator of the contest, I am not actually participating.
I would be honored to actually sponsor that here, too. I will pay 2000 gold to the avatar that the crew of the guild deems best fits the theme.

Thats really nice of you to offer. We just won 10000 gold as a guild from the Guild Bumping Contest that was in the FBI guild. So you wouldn't have to pay. I was thinking that a themed avatar event would be the best. I have lots of ideas on this, and since I'm off of work tomorrow and friday, I'm hoping to do some work with the contest, and getting some other things around here up to date. I'll let everyone know soon.
