So, last week we went on vacation to Georgia--two reasons for this--Hubby wanted an actual vacation, and one of his cousins got married that same week in Georgia. So we went. Remember we have a one-year-old wink . it's about an 11-hour drive from here. We left sunday night, drove until baby got on our nerves too much, stopped for the night, and ended up in Atlanta on monday.
Tuesday morning we went to the aquarium in atlanta. It was AWESOME!!! They have Beluga whales, whale sharks, otters, sea lions, penquins...i could go on, but i won't wink Something that my husband really enjoyed was the Japanese spider crabs--they can live to be 100 or so and can grow to the size of a CAR!! eek crazy, huh? My baby really loved the colorful fish that swam around a lot. I liked the Belugas.
Wednesday we went to the zoo....saw the baby panda and some baby gorillas. We like our zoo better....not sure exactly why, maybe we were just tired.... *shrug* We also went swimming...baby absolutely loved it! she was scared at first, but then we taught her how to splash, and Hubby did some dramatics everytime she did, and she laughed soooo hard!!! Thursday I got a manicure and shopped with Hubby's female cousins. Friday was the wedding. Saturday was the reception. Hawaiian theme. Drove home Sunday.
It was a good vacation.
