Field A - Forest of Death You find yourself standing outside a large fenced off forest heavy in tree coverage. Looking upon it, you can sense some lurking evil within the living nature trap known as the Forest of Death. The signs on the fences display "Danger," further emphasizing the fact of what you are staring at. If you listen to the noises of the forest, you could hear the sounds of the insects, the hissings of the snakes, and the cries of a wild animal deep within. Will you stand and watch or will you run away in fear? This is your fork in the road. Displayed on a board in front of you is a paper with the team matchups for each person. Teams_____________ All Genin are to report here first, where you will be able to interact with your teammates before the matches begin. The matches will start on Monday, so take this time to get to know your partners before this thing starts.

“ POOF! “
Poisonous smoke clouded the crowded vicinity of spectators, coughing in defiance and disappearing from view. The ANBU Captain smiled in amusement, porcelain kitsune mask concealing his identity and finished a sequence of hand seals. Whirlwinds appeared out of no apparent location and wiped clean the slate, in literal terms, the environment of his entrances harm. Tradition was evident in the ANBU Captains appearance of black-colored attire and unblemished protection gear that adorned each forearm and shin, including the plate on his chest. A impressive view, Captain Kinslayer waited the arrival of Genin.

Burrado stood there. A couple feet away from the entrance of the gate. His 'team' had not yet arrived. He only hoped he wouldn't have to carry his team around through the entire exams. After all he was sure the first couple of stages were team oriented.

There was no traditional popping or mini-explosion and there was no smoke. Sutsuki appeared at grounds in a silent instant, her hands on her hips defiantly as she peered a the fenced off area. She glances at the team roster list and sighs. She didn't think she had even met the people on her team before. With a shrug, she turned and began scanning for her teammates.

With a swift movement, Temari appeared at the grounds, one knee bent and her fan positioned behind her like always. Sighing, she glanced over at the ANBU Black Op who had just appeared with a flashy entrance. ANBU these days, she though, shaking her head. Ramming her fan to the ground, she leaned her body over the fan like a staff as she waited for the rest of the genin to arrive.

Enasun had arrived after haveing a quick sandwhich for lunch. Instead of using his wind jutsu's to get him here, he chose to run instead. He noticed the teams board and took a look. To his dismay, Neither Sutsuki nor Ryu were on his team. In fact, he didn't see Ryu at all. Strange.

Shikamaru himself stood near a wooden pillar, his back resting against it as his hands remained in the pockets of his pants. He was boringly staring toward the forest. Yeah, he remembered his first time going in there. The place wasn't your walk through the park, that's for sure. It didn't go right with him that these kids were going to be put through the same thing, but it was neccessary for them to grow a little more. He just hoped everyone comes out alive after this thing. Otherwise, he would feel more bad about this.

The ANBU Captain disappeared in motion of directed step. Steel-embedded glove pressed on shoulder, the ANBU made direct contact and spoke. " You disliked the entrance, Temari, or is it just me you dislike in particular? Kitsune Mask leveled almost horizontal to the ground, the ANBU Captain waited on his answer.

The lieutenant sighed, the concerned expression erased by the porcelain neko mask that covered his visage. He had 'poofed' in along with the Captain and was thoroughly interested in watching the Chuunin exams, though still worried as to what might befall his youngest cousin. Folding his arms across his chest he had to admit, the view was spectacular. Lieutenant Zentsuki of the Kataki clan would make sure that his captain could enjoy the event, having already moved the squads to secure the perimeter and conduct tight security operations.

Temari didn't even glance over as she closed her eyes and sighed. "The entrance, Mr. ANBU. The entrance. Are you trying to kill everyone before the exams even start by poisoning our lungs with toxic gas?"

His Dairokkan sensed the Lieutenant, peeling white-outlined tomoe's on black-colored eyeballs from Temari and peered in his general direction. The ANBU Captain signaled the Lieutenant, callused but nimble extremities of the hand creating hidden messages in the traditional Gaioh hand language to question him. " How is the perimeter security? " Then Temari replied and brought an enertained smirk on his thin, blushing lips. " Then no Genin would succeed and become Jounin, and our lives would be more comfortable. Especially his. " Jerked in direction to Shikamaru, the ANBU Captain indicated who he meant. " I am kidding of course, but it would, all the same. " The ANBU chuckled and disappeared, recieving the message from the ANBU Lieutenant and began securing the Forest of Death himself.

Burrado stood motionless. brown hues would settles upon the chained fence, he grinned watching all the silhouettes behind it. He figured this was a survival test, piecing together what he had heard about previous exams. He'd have to take these surroundings into hand. Their were animal. The thick forestry was a perfect place to set traps. Hmmm ... Despite the absence of his team, he had already appointed himself leader.
Being that he was the only to have shown up. He did hope they'd hurry up soon though. He doubted the proctors would hold up the exams because of two late shinobi. A brown brow arched at the sudden roar that originated from behind the gates. He grinned. He couldn't help but wonder of some of his opponents were getting discouraged by these sounds. standing there he also realized he could freely drink sake without having to disguise it was water. At least that's what he hoped. The geninn doubted ANBU would be watching him carefully here.
More thoughts were driven to his mind. Anxiety building up, being so close where he wanted to be, but denied of doing so caused all thoughts to bombard his head. Such as the locations of the proctors when they were to enter this dense forest. Would they be in there as well? Watching them? Or would they be patrolling the village. After all at the times of the chuninn exams criminals often attacked. A yawn would escape his mouth, his left hand coming to hang before it. Both hands dropped from the crossed formation at his chest. His left dropping into the dark depths of his pants pocket. While his right would dangle idly at his side.
"I want ... this thing ... to start ... soooo badly." He'd utter to himself. His 4'10" form twitching from the built uop anxiety.
