Don't you just love Puu, Yusuke's spirit beast. Though, I have to say I like Yusuke more, but Puu is just so cute.

That Yusuke is a small blue penguin with black hair, and says PUU. XD
I mean, he's NOT, but at the same time...that's him. On the inside. *pets Yusuke's inside* Ew, organs. >.<

His name's actually Puusuke. I heard Kuwabara say it... whee CUUUTE!!
(my friends and I randomly flap our arms and shout 'PUU!!' in an obnoxiously high voice at the lunch table...)

I must say I was surprised when I first saw Puu... but that soon died down when I really considered Yusuke as a whole. Puu came out cute and adoreable because deep down Yusuke is a very good person, he cares and he has a good soul. Then of course Puu turns into a phoenix, which is also very Yusuke considering Yusuke has risen from the ashes. He's a great little Spirit Beast.

You know, "bad a**" is a term I could never use to describe Puu. Even in his phoenix form he's still cute... He's big and blue, and still has that little puff of hair and attitude... no, he'll always be cute to me.

In doubt, your friends are always there......OMG, I LOVE Puu!!! HE'S SO CUTE!!! And me and my friend, who got me into my YYH lover self, are like, "How is this Yusuke's inner-self?!! He's TOO CUTE!!!!"
...Although they may "bite" at times.....

For a while after seeing Puu I didn't neccasarly take Yusuke as seriously as I did before but when he did that super cool power up (that looked like a gaint blue bird xd ) things went back to uber respect.
I mean Puu is like Yusuke and visa versa so it all balanced out. I wonder what the thought process was behind the design of Puu anyway?

My favorite thing about Puu is his transformation. It basically marks, for me, where Yusuke stops being a child and becomes an adult; a strong, emotionally balanced and powerful creature.
