Situated between Valorei county and the thick Southern Mountains, Lock County is one full of forests, rivers and lakes. It gets its name, "Lock" from the keyhole-shaped lake around its capitol city, Zaribas, and is sometimes considered to include Lion's Valley to the southwest. Lock county is known for being the only county on the western coast that has a very east-coast attitude toward how people should be treated, and for being the birthplace of the current king, Auderis Corine.Most of the income in Lock county comes from commerce, trading with other counties for necessary items, and mining in the Southern Mountains, as well as fishing off the coast and some forestry. Farming is rare in Lock, as most of the land is either forested, built upon or underwater, so the people eat mainly fish.
The monsters in Lock are freshwater in nature, or those found in the forest. Kappa are common, as well as giant insects, along with normal creatures, such as bears or wolves. Werewolves are common in Lock, making it a werewolf hunter's paradise.
