All I know about them is that they're playing some show with Tool, and Tool is amazing. Tool bad those tickets will probably cost at least 75$ a piece just because Tool is there, and Tool concerts are stupidly expensive.

No, what's stupidly expensive is a $125 a pop for Cheap Trick tickets (although it did come with a dinner..) Needless to say I didn't go. Haven't heard anything off it yet. Then again I'm not some huge fan freak for them, but they aren't bad either.

@ Jon: Very good. The title track and Conquest were amazing when I heard them at first, the album gets even better.

I have mixed feelings for the White Stripes. I usually like their songs, but I don't know how well they'd do with repeated listens for me, and Jack White annoys me.
What's their best album? I might pick it up if I find myself with extra cash somehow.

nitnit - But it's SOOOO worth it. gonk Tool are incredible live.
The White Stripes...ehhhh. I don't really like them. I think they're kind of interesting at times, but I REALLY have to be in the right mood to get any enjoyment out of listening to them. I think they're creative and unique, and they have my respect as musicians...but I don't really like them. Sometimes Jack's voice gets really annoying and whiny, and he's just talk-singing at no real pitch, and that bothers me. Plus the whole lack-of-bass guitar in most of their songs...yeah.
I do kinda like Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground, though. And Icky Thump isn't too bad.
And as soon as I saw this thread, I ******** got My Doorbell stuck in my head. gonk
They're just okay in my book. I tolerate them, but don't really listen to them on my own time.

If I were to dish out that money though, I may as well buy a dimebag of pot for the show since the majority of the audience will be high. (not even being a jackass or offensive here)

Why bother wasting the money? You can get high off the other people's smoke. x_x; (I've never smoked, but I assume that's probably not as good as actually taking a drag for yourself, but damn...you really could get high just from being in the arena.)
The people in front of us were smoking pot the WHOLE time. Wait, no...they smoked like, two cigarettes too. xd

I hate the smell of smoke.
I just saw a band who sang about sharing your pot with others and taking showers after smoking. They smelled like s**t.
