you are, certainly. but what brushes are you using? you may want to start with a flat brush, or just a soft one, until you develop a style you like and want to work on further.

also, you might want to decide what style you're drawing in, as there are very different ways to draw a head. the main thing i would say that looks odd here is that the eyes seem very close together.

but as i said, you are definitely getting better. i can see you're adding more detail to your drawings, too! ;D
