This story begins atleast 50 to 70 years after Naruto Shippuuden starts...
At last, the young boy named Uzumaki Naruto, the Jinchuuriki container for the Kyuubi had achieved his life long dream, becoming the Rokudaime Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato. The world seemed to be at peace now, for the Akatsuki had been destroyed, as well as any other opposing threat to the shinobi nations. The world seemed to go through a golden age, everyone aligned with one another, all 5 shinobi villages prospered in a time of peace.
However, all the world did have one supernatural threat at hand. Due to the Akatsuki's handy work, the Bijuu were released from their prison in their statue, and ran rampant around the world. Fortunatley, the Kage's untied in an effort to seal every Bijuu in certain artifacts, in which they would pass down through their village to the next heir of the Kage name. This spelled the end for the current Kages, ending the life of Uzumaki Naruto as well, as he protected the village from the Kyuubi that was extracted from him by the Akatsuki, and defended it as the Yondaime did, sacraficing his life, and sealing the demonic fox into the Shodai necklace, along with his own soul. Thus, new Kage's were elected, and a young Konohamaru, became the Nanadaime Hokage, among other Kage's for each nation.
The Shinobi world became quiet again, with the Bijuu's calmed, it seemed that there might be another golden age. This was destroyed when a rebellion sparked in Kusa, in which certain ninja betrayed the Harakage for his Bijuu artifiact. However, it was sealed away by the Harakage somewhere hidden in Kusa, where only the true heir could face the challenges to retrieve it. The Harakage was killed, as was the rebellion in one fell swoop, leaving the village in shambles. Kusa is now a shell of it's former self, and is on it's way to restoring itself, but is relying on it's Shinobi allies to help it return to it's former glory...
