History:
The Akimichi clan has been around longer then Konoha itself. They were a close knit family, much like they are to this day. They organized themselves so they resembled a tribe, they had hunters and gatherers, as well as a chief who looked over them. Due to their discovery of transforming calories to chakra, they hunted a lot, having quite a few squads to search for food at any given hour of the day. When the Shodai and Nidaime appeared and asked for all the clans in the area to support a shinobi village, the Akimichi were hesitant at first, not wanting to give up their land to clans they did not know completley. Alas, in the end the Akimichi agreed when they saw their close allies, the Nara's and Yamanaka's begin to assist the future Hokage's. The Akimichi's were in charge of gaining food for the village in it's early stages in creation, so many of the eldest villagers are in debt to the Akimichi. They now are in charge of one of the largest resturants in Konoha, named "Asuma' by Akimichi Chouji, the founder of the restaurant.
The typical Akimichi is gluttonous, desiring food at every point during the day, and complaining whenever their stomach growls over the slightest thing. They also become enraged when someone insults their body shape, known to destroy walls in such a fit of rage without needing to use a single jutsu. However, the clan members are normally very pure hearted and kind, being nature loving people. They are very protective of their family and friends, willing to expand themselves to they take every single strike from an opponent. As children, they are normally picked on by other kids, unaccepted by most of the children in the academy. A clan member will normally find one person in their life who accepts them for who they are, and chooses to protect them until the day they die.
