Thule was a semi-arid planet known for its rich savannas, continually bombarded by lightning storms, but Thule was also a hidden Sith stronghold. The rocky outcroppings which broke the plains were charred black from being hit by lightning. This charred rock later served as a form of sustenance for unusual, bioluminescent moss that made the rocks glow with an eerie light.

A lieutenant turned to the Captain. "Captain, I found it!" The Captain in turn, faced the Dark Lady. "My lady, the city you requested has been located." Vicious nodded and walked to the station of the lieutenant and stood over him, examining the city. "Excellent. Captain, have some of your ground forces accompany me to the surface." The Captain looked surprised at her. "You want me to send my men down to that dangerous world." She backhanded him hard and crackled with the Dark Side. "Yes, I expect you to die if I order you to. Now, have your men organize in the hanger. I want to go down to the planet and examine this city." The Captain rubbed his face and stood up. "But Lady Vicious one of the fiercest storms is over it!" She raised her hand again to hit him and he flinched. "I do not care, follow my order or I shall kill you quicker than the time it takes to snap your finger." He could feel the seriousness in her voice and issued her order. She left the bridge and headed to the hanger.

The transport put down in a large square near the center of the city and the boarding ramp dropped. The troops came down with their rifles drawn and fanned out to search the area. Vicious strolled down the ramp and almost as soon as she did, she felt a choking sensation and felt herself being pushed to the ground. The troops sun around in alarm and saw the Ghost standing over her. They started firing at it, but the blasts went right through. Vicious ordered them to stop firing and began the battle of wills against the ghost. She called upon her power of ancient spirits to force the ghost off of her. "I demand to know who you are." Vicious stood before the ghost now, fully showing herself. "And how did you get through my storm?" Vicious smiled and projected herself in the Force. "I am Darth Vicious, fabled Lady of the Ancients, master over Force spirits and temple protector. I got through your storm by dissipating it using my powers." The spirit considered this and began to probe her mind. Vicious felt the probe, but instead of building walls around her mind, opened her mind and allowed the spirit to search her mind. He apparently found what he was looking for and removed itself from her mind. "What I have found is suitable evidence that your words are true, child of Ziost. Tell me what has become of our homeworld." Vicious' eyes became saddened. "It was destroyed by a crooked Sith. I proceeded to destroy him." The spirit looked sad and turned towards the sky. "Many great spirits were lost then. It's a shame, really." Vicious nodded and moved to stand next to him. "Great spirit, can you teach me the ancient secrets you hide?" The spirit turned to her with a smile on his face. "I have not taught a student in over seven thousand years. I would be honored to teach the one who will protect my crypt."

Vicious walked into the building that served as the city center and the spirit projected to her what it looked like when he walked the halls as a living being. She saw the awe that this building held and what is was and committed the images to memory. She would handle the restoration of this building alone, she told herself.

While the crews from the warships in orbit worked on repairs on the walls around the city, Vicious trained with Lord Kalrathia, the spirit defender of Kressia. He was instructing her on a new Force ability called the Spear of Midnight Black, as well as teaching her to increase her power in the Dark Side and exercises she could use to increase her fitness.

Vicious retired back to the chamber inside the building and resumed practicing the Spear technique for several more hours before leaving and entering the Sith bedchamber. She stripped and climbed into the bed to sleep, for she had a long day, and another long day stood in front of her tomorrow.

After several more hours of practice , Vicious was clearly able to summon the Spear of Midnight Black and send it flying through the targets the spirit manifested. After dueling with the spirit for another hour, it was clearly impressed "You have learned the technique quite well, Lady Vicious." Vicious smiled and stood alone in the room. "I've had a good teacher. Now, fine spirit, I allow you to rest. I shall take the mantel of the city protector." The spirit smiled and finally began to join the Force. "Thank you, Vicious. I entrust the city to you." The spirit dissipated and became one with the Force.

The transport touched down and Vicious boarded the craft. Soon it took off and Vicious transferred over to the flagship and she ordered the one ship to lightspeed for nearby Ord Radama.
