It's tied for my favorite park. But last time we went to Disney World my family didn't want to go to that park I was so sad. sad I really love Cinderella's castle. I remember when I got to go see her when I was about five, in her throne room and it was only Cinderella, my family, her servants, and me in the room. She told me to close my eyes and when I opened them she gave me a handful of confetti that was shaped like Mickey Mouse! I still have all of it in a jar! smile I heart the Magic Kingdom!

Oh man, that would be so cool! My favorite childhood Disney memory was in the Magic Kingdom too. I got to participate in one of the parades - bang a drum. It was fun. biggrin

Wow! I love the parades that Disney puts on. I have always wanted to participate in a parade there; as a matter of fact I would love to participate in anything at Magic Kingdom, just walking through the gates is like a dream come true.

Oh that is very lucky! I'm very excited for you. It would be great for you to post, I love hearing about people's trip to Disney World. I hope you have a lovely time. I love the Magic Kingdom, but the other day I asked my Dad why we didn't go to the Magic Kingdom even though we went to all the other parks. His reason for not going,"That park is boring." Of course I certainly wanted to say something in argument with him, but that was not a time to argue with him. So if everyone could post reasons why they love Magic Kingdom, so that I can make a huge list and then give it to my father to show him why the park is so amazing that would be great.

the few time I've been and for future visit I always plan to go to Magic Kingdom first among the parks.
Its my favorite park. I love that you get so engulfed in the magic, the fantasy, that you can't help but feel like a kid again. Can't help but smile while your there. I've always been a coaster nut, but here i am riding Adventures with winnie the pooh and enjoying it throughly, lol. Its just what the park does to me.
As for memories, I proposed to my wife this past summer while there, at cinderella's fountain to be exact. Had her sit on the edge of it, telling her i was going to take her picture. As she was was looking at the mural and cinderella, i got down to one knee before her and when she turned to look at me she sees me down on one knee asking if she'll marry me.

Ohhh, you proposed there? That's so sweet! whee
And I agree with you. It's hard not to be taken by the magic in the park. It's the only place in the world where I actually enjoy riding so-called "kiddie" rides.

i've been going to Disney every year since i was 9 months old. i'm 18 now and i still love it. Magic Kingdom is my favorite park. i think it's amazing because were else can you go to space, ride a magic carpet, be a pirate, visit a haunted house, and fly with peter pan all in the same day?! ugh i cannot wait to go back in July, i'm going alone with my best friend for a graduation present and we've been planning this for almost a year. haha xd
