MAP
I have no really kickass map made right now, so for the moment, before we can get something decent, we'll have to reference my sketched map. You can find it here and here.
CURRENCY
In Vorisseine, the currency for all the counties is the varrnik, a small golden coin stamped with the insignia of the royal family that was in power when it was minted, and the name of the county it was made in. On the other side is an inscription of the royal palace, and the country's motto in an ancient tongue: Hex krad, ereven selfa, honetid gsod hilve gidstin.
So, how many varniks make me rich? Well, it depends on which county you're in, and on the current economy, so let's see some examples of rich people and poor people.
•Catherine Button is a poor beggar woman. She is lucky to get ten varnik a day, so she can buy a loaf of bread. •Terrence Scellit is a fabulously wealthy and world-renowned scholar, writer and historian. He usually gets about fifty thousand varnik a week, and currently resides in a sprawling, thirty-million varnik mansion in Lock county, richer than the count is, even. •King Auderis Corine, who rules over Vorisseine, has, in his royal treasury, a little over twelve billion varnik. •Ericka Caisse, one of your average, everyday citizens, makes about two hundred varnik a day, enough to support her average, everyday household of two children and her fat, ugly husband. •Julius Catnoub, a poor farmer who lives by himself, gets about four hundred varnik a month. •Most counts and countesses make around ten thousand varnik a week, through their usual salaries and taxes.
Get it? Well, that's too bad, because I don't feel like making a chart.
(And all those targeted negatively through those examples... you know who you are! Hahaha!)
COUNTS
In Vorisseine, the position of "Count" is appointed by the king, after the death or retirement of the former one. Sometimes it is a male descendant of the previous count, though more often than not it is a completely different, unrelated person. Countesses reigning over counties are extremely rare, and only happen near the east coast, though there hasn't been a female countess in over twenty years.

Battle System
I've seen, recently, that a lot of people don't want to join places with a dice system in place. Honestly, I don't know why that is, since it helps cut down on godmoding and it's easy to use, but whatever. As such, the battle system IS NOT MANDATORY. If you don't want to use the dice system, don't use it, but be warned that I will have my eye out for godmoding.
It works like this. When you make an attack post, use "Post Action" to roll a single 10-sided die.
CHART!
1-3 - Didn't hit 4-6 - Person being attacked gets to decide 7-9 - Hit 10 - CRITICAL HIT!!

The gods of Foricia have been worshipped since the dawning of life, though it is a different story in recent years. The claims and theories of the new king of Vorisseine have led most of the populace to believe the gods are mere fairy tales, dreamt up by their ancestors to explain natural occurrences. Currently, very few people still believe in the gods, and those that do must do so in secret, or fear being persecuted by the ruthless Godhunters. Most of the records of the gods have been destroyed, but many can still remember tales of them. It is said that, while some had streaks of mercy or compassion, they are all cruel at heart, and must never be trusted, but always worshipped.
Dialta God of mischief, song, poetry, wine, festivity, plays, lethargy and art.
Dialta is considered one of the merciful gods, and a fun loving one who would rather attend festivals and plays than attend to his godly duties. It is said that he is married to Lividoria, but rarely pays any attention to her, all the while spending his time watching festivals and, occasionally, joining in on them. It is said that whenever a woman falls unexpectedly pregnant after a festival and has no clue as to who the father is, the child is one of Dialta's. He is the patron god of bards, and his symbol is the lute.
Vendis God of hatred, wrath, revenge, and war.
Vendis is one of the hateful, merciless and cruel gods, caring nothing for mortals unless they are hacking away at one another. His personality is said to be tragically one-dimensional, as he lusts for battle and favours only those who give him tribute and sacrifice. He is also the brother of Kosauk, the patron of fighters, and his symbol is the blade.
Kosauk God of sickness, sorrow, death, decay, torture, pain, and jealousy.
Kosauk is the silent god, rarely worshipped and rarely known to meddle in the affairs of mortals. He is contracted by Mera to watch over the dead on Caius, and is only truly called upon by those in agony, those dying, or those whose loved ones have recently passed on. He is a patron of nothing, and his symbol is the hist. (A black cloth laid over the faces of the dead.)
Mera Goddess of Caius, (The moon) magic, intelligence, vanity, and the sea.
An apathetic goddess, Mera cares for few mortals other than her worshippers, and even then does not aid them too much. She is usually watching over her waters, leaving Caius under the guard of Kosauk, or inventing new spells and types of magic. She is said to be an extremely vain goddess, (The legends go so far as to say she only created the sea so as to have a looking glass large enough for her tastes.) who, while brilliant beyond compare, is easily swayed by flattery and admiration. She is the patron of mages, and her symbol is the sapphire.
Tolle God of money, greed, merchantry, and thieves
God of commerce, Tolle is, like Mera, an apathetic god. He cares only for the marketplace and money, and is said to hold sway over financial fortunes. For example, were a merchant to gain an unexpected profit, or if a merchant's caravan to be raided by highwaymen, it would be considered Tolle's working. He is said to be working toward getting his temples as much money as possible, thus having currency passed to people that would donate to him. He is the patron of merchants and thieves, and his symbol is the varnik.
Melora Goddess of the harvest, fertility, children, marriage, and overeating.
Possibly the only kind goddess, Melora is said to watch over each of her followers as if they were her own children. She is extremely fond of children and babies, and as such, she is often called upon to administer her godly wrath over those who harm such young people. She is also favoured by farmers, as she reigns over the kingdom of harvest, and some even speculate that she has the power to bring people back from the dead, though this is not the case. She is the patron of farmers, the twin of Lividoria, and her symbol is wheat.
Lividoria Goddess of love, affairs, lust, attraction and fornication.
Though the twin of Melora, Lividoria is not as kindly as her sister. True, she is the goddess of love, but many put her volatile demeanor as being an incarnation of the nature of her realm. She is known to be extremely aloof, having many affairs behind the back of her husband, Dialta, who feels free to have many of his own. She is the patron of lovers, and her symbol is the heart.
