.:Setting:. The Prince's Kingdom at a crowded bazaar. 'Kingdoms' are located in a vast field faaaaar east of Memory Valley.
Gwendalyn enjoyed traveling out of her kingdom and did it tons of times...sometimes with permission and sometimes without permission. She had called a carriage to take her to the neighboring kingdom secretly, she'd be in quite a tizzy if her father found out. Gwen was quite annoyed with the fact that her kingdom's bazaar didn't sell fabric with pretty patterns on them. She had been planning on redecorating her room with lovely curtains that had chains of gems hanging by them. Her father insisted on having fabric from some of the neighboring kingdoms shipped over, but Gwen was rather impatient and so, she she went on a sort of...vacation.
Gwen was getting pushed around by the commoners in the bazaar and it was very annoying. She would've pushed back, but that wouldn't be very nice. She spotted a colorful merchant's stand and picked up the hem of her dress to hurry to the stand.
I should've worn something else today, how foolish of to have not dressed like a commoner. I surely stand out...Oof. These people are so rude-
She didn't get a chance to complete her thought because a bulky mouse had hurried by and bumped into her. Losing her footing on the stone paved ground, Gwen fell forward. She sat up quickly and scowled before calling after the rude mouse, "Brute!"

Kenton was out today himself, of course he was carefully disguised in commoner's garb. He stood tall with a deep brown cape covering his ruby red top and a pair of faded, tan work pants, also adorned quite nicely with some seriously hideous looking grass and dirt stains. No one would be able to tell by looking that this Kenton was Prince Kenton Royale of the Memory Esquire Palace.
Kenton looked quite eagerly about the bazarr, he was in need of some new goblets for his stone collection. Any goblet would do, silver or gold, or bronze even. He was only, of course, putting stones into these precious cups.
The bazarr certainly is crowded today. Kenton thought dodging some of the crowd commotion. He had gotten used to the Esquire bazarr being quite ruff and had practically mastered the skill of evading all the 'attacks' commoners posed to him. A hurt prince left for a not to happy kingdom. So Kenton moved his way over to one of the bazarr's far walls. There is spotted just the stand he was looking for. It sat right next to a multi-colored fabric stand.
Kenton hurried his way across the wall to get to the merchant's stand. A sound caused him to stop in his tracks however. It wasn't a normal bazarr sound, more the sound of a dainty, destressed, female, none like the ones that lived in Esquire. Kenton turned and saw an elaborate girl fall over.
What a silly little femmie, dressed so awkwardly for bazarr crawling. Kenton thought as he walked over to the downed mouse. He lent a paw out to her. "You need help, miss?" He asked with a glint in his pretty, icy blue eyes.

Gwen had still been glaring in the direction that the rude mouse had headed off to when she heard a rather kind voice. She turned her head and found herself staring at some commoner looking boy with lovely blue eyes. She kind of just stared at him with her doe brown eyes for a few seconds, in slight shock that someone was willing to help her-Gwen had already decided that this kingdom's commoners were all brutes.
Flashing the mouse a bright smile, she took his hand stood up. Dusting off her white dress, Gwen took a good look at the mouse and smiled again before curtsying, "Thank you very much kind sir~" After a small pause, she decided to introduce herself, "I'm Gwendalyn...DelaRossa."
She sighed softly and brushed a lock of silky brown hair out of her eyes. Gwen wore her hair in a rather interesting manner. She left a curl of hair on each side and piled the rest of her hair on top of her head and kept it there with her golden crown and s string of pearls she received from her now deceased mother a few years back.
She wore a fancy white dress that was ruffled in the front and it had another layer of golden fabric over it and then another smaller layer of pink fabric over it. There was a golden chain that she hooked around her waist and she topped off her outfit with a ruby brooch.
Looking at the mouse out of the corner of her eye, Gwen thought that he looked a tad...awkward. Though he was dressed like a commoner, he didn't seem like any ordinary commoner to her. She shrugged off her awkward suspicion and glanced at the fabric stand and then at the bustling mice. She seriously should've dressed more casually, she could always head home now and change...but it would be pathetic and a waste of time if she came home empty handed! Besides, her father would probably have some guards block every single exit if she came home now...

"Welcome to Memory Esquire." Kenton said with a brilliant beam. "Miss Gwendalyn DelaRossa, I am Kenton Royale, Prince of this here kingdom. And you my dear must be a Misses of an ajoining palace? I have not seen you on my grounds before, I do not think." Kenton said bowing to the lavishly adorned girl.
He thought for a moment and chuckled softly to himself. There is no way this here fair maiden is going to believe I am a prince. Just look at me. Kenton stretched his arms wide out admiring his commoner costume. I look like a peasant. He laughed a little louder.
"Don't judge me by my garb, my lady. I am dressed so to hide the fact I am a prince. I wouldn't want my bazarr to cease bustling because their prince was in town." Kenton laughed aloud.

Gwen stared at the 'prince' for a few seconds, "If you do not wish for anyone to know, then why are you chuckling and talking so loudly?" She giggled softly, "Yes, I am Princess Gwendalyn DelaRossa of the neighboring kingdom of...." She thought for a moment, both sides of her family had argued over the name of the palace for years, "Uhm...the Palace of..." She tried her hardest to remember what the current name of her palace and chuckled softly, "Dezacore...my, it's so hard to remember, both sides of my family keep on changing the name, I belong to such an argumentative and indecisive family."
She had decided to believe Kenton and take his word that he truly was the price, "Any who, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance Prince Kenton." She gave him another smile and fiddled with her dress slightly. Gwen always had this lovely little smile on her face, some even said it was a pleased look for some awkward reason.
"What brings you to the bazaar today? I should've dressed like you, I would at least blend in a tad more, oh well," She pursed her lips, "If i was dressed as a commoner, the others probably would've already trampled me or something of the sort. How rude~"

"When in the Esquire bazarr no one pays attention to conversations going by, or people for that matter, Miss." Kenton said with a slight smile. "You must have noticed that, no?" He asked. His ice eyes fell on her smile. She has a nice, kind face for a princess. Kenton thought to himself.
"And I am pleased by the fact you trust me. I mean, really any old commoner could come up to you and say they were me. But yes, I believe you should have dressed more... down, per say. Do you want to come back to my castle and switch into some more shopping friendly clothes?" Kenton asked stretching a hand to the female and walking back over to the wall.
"I am here from some goblets though. That stand right there." Kenton said pointing to the stand he was looking to going to. "I need some more containers for my stones." He said with grin. "My collection is getting much to large for the ones I have now."

"Yes, I have noticed that..." She glanced around slightly. My, what piercing blue eyes...reminds me of that aquamarine brooch Iloi had... "The people here are all so rude...except for you that is."
"Hm, I don't know really...my sister is the gullible and naive one, but I'm also somewhat gullible...But there's something about you that doesn't seem to scream 'COMMONER'," She shrugged nonchalantly, "Uhm...Are you sure it would be okay...?" HA! If father decides to sent some guards to find me...I'm sure he wouldn't look in the Palace first...
"Oh, goblets are lovely things. My father collects them for some weird reason, they make a great decoration at the fireplace though. I'm here to buy some fabric. I plan on sewing some new curtains for my room, but my kingdom's bazaar doesn't have the fabric that I'm look for. My kingdom mainly sells jewelry and decorative things so they don't have a very large variety of fabrics."

"Of course it would be ok, Miss Gwen! Do you mind if I call you that?" Kenton asked. "And I wouldn't so say Esquire is rude, as it is more busy. People are so busy around her bumbling and bustling that they hardly pay attention." Kenton took ahold of the girl's paw and led her down the length of the bazaar's wall. He pulled her behind him through the palace gate and then he let her go and sat along the edge of the Palace's courtyard fountain.
"Emerald or sapphire, Miss DelaRossa?" Kenton asked studying the princess. Brown eyes, auburn hair, she wore yellows and pinks and that ruby broach. So much for narrowing his choices. He pulled at his top. "I suppose you could wear this ruby one. I have only had it on for a little. It is not dirty I promise... well no, that would be awkward." He thought aloud. "You choose. Blue or Green?"

"Hm really? Our kingdoms are so different then. My bazaar is peaceful and calm, it's the kind of bazaar where you say 'Hello' to someone you know every ten steps." She followed after him quickly, trying not to stumble, "Oh yes, but drop the 'Miss'."
Gwen had been looking around curiously when Kenton had started to ask her about colors and something of the sort. "My, how pretty. My palace has a fountain too, but it's out back in the garden. I think it would look so much better out in the front though..."
She twirled around and stared at him blankly, "Oh, I'm sorry...I didn't hear you. How rude of me...You were saying something about colors?"

"Oh alright then, Mi... I mean, Gwen." Kenton said placing a paw behind his head and looking sheepish. "I can't help but say Miss, it was how I was raised." He laughed softly.
"But yes, colors. Which do you like better green or blue?" He asked again. "I am going to run to my chambers and fetch you a outfit." He smiled. "Oh and pants or no pants, My tops are relatively long, we could fasten a belt acrossed your waist and it would look quite like a females dress?" He said slightly unsure. "I will bring some pants just in case."

She smiled at him, "Oh no worries, that's how I was raised too, but I cheat," she laughed softly. "I prefer to only be formal to my elders for some awkward reason...I blame my sister for this habit."
"Oh...uhm, blue I suppose. Unless it's rather dark, dark blue is a sort of mannish color...Oh, that would work." She cocked her head to one side and stared at him with a blank expression before smirking, "You make it sound like you're going to make me change out here. In the open. Where anyone could hop by and see."

Kenton laughed the loudest he had yet. "Of course I wouldn't do that. Though I can't very well take you inside the palace. Father would be sure to play a game of Twenty Questions and most likely bar you in one of our less than standard chambers. So you shall change in there, Gwen." Kenton pointed off to a small, gazebo-shaped building, next to the palace.
"That is the Meeting house, where we pass all of Esquire's serious laws. No one is in there today, not even one of our house maids. So you, my dear, are safe to change in there." The prince smiled brightly to the female.
"And the blue is more of a brighter blue, kind of an oceany color. But it is a drab, bright. You wouldn't want to stick out like a sore thumb in the bazaar now would you?" He asked chuckling looking over the attire she already had on. How ironic a question!

She gave him a shocked really, "Oh my. Would he really? Scary..." She glanced over at the gazebo, "Uh...okay." She began to wonder what the king of this kingdom was like....
"Oh, that seems like a lovely meeting house. Our meeting house is just this giant room in the palace. How drab." She sighed and smiled softly, almost getting homesick...almost.
"I suppose not. I've already had a 'sticking-out-like-a-sore-thumb moment today'." She swept a hand over her dress and laughed.

Noticing Gwen's shock to his statement, Kenton quickly took it back. "Well maybe he wouldn't go as far as barring you in a chamber, but he would certainly ask many questions and I am not in the mood to answer those." He said a tad awkwardly. "My father LOVES questioning people."
Kenton hopped off the side of the fountain and walked towards the meeting room. He opened the large white door and opened it up to Gwen revealing a room with a circular cherrywood table with matching cherrywood chairs apohlstered in Canary Diamond yellow pluch cushioning. The walls were window-less, aside from the angled ceiling's elborate stained glass collage of a sun and moon and colorful shapes. The light flowing through the glass caused colors to dance across the room's plain white walls, making them all not quite so plain. Of course, also taking away from the walls drabness, were gold rimmed paintings of previous kings and queens of the Esquire palace, at the far side of the room above the HeadMaster's chair was Kenton's painting. It showed him as a wee child, a meer youngster. Not the Prince Kenton Royale that Gwen was looking at now. He was much more grown up now compared to that picture.
Kenton looked at Gwen. "So this is it. Just let me go grab your clothes and I shall be back." He said turning heel and entering into the palace, leaving Gwen alone to gawk at the Meeting building's elaborateness.

Gwen gave him a sideways glance, "Oh...that's interesting. My father only questions the suspicious type of people. He's really easy going and laid back. Hm...my father likes to talk though, so I try not to bring over friends too often because he'll just keep going and going...He's a motormouth."
After Kenton left, Gwen looked at the room in awe. The ceiling was lovely. She looked around and went over to the paintings of the past and current kings and queens, looking closely at the picture of young Kenton, she smiled, "Awww, what a cutie."
She ran her finger along the smooth surface of the table as she circled around it. She twirled a lock of hair around her dainty paw as she jumped back to take a seat on the table instead of one of the chairs. What would she tell her father? Oooh...I snuck away to a neighboring kingdom, met this handsome prince pretending to be a commoner, he took me back to his place, gave me a change of clothes and then we went shopping together? Nothing too weird father, i swear.
