The pack lives in one of the last forests. It's full of huge trees and shadey hollows, perfect hiding places. There's a river that runs through it.
The pack den is nestled near the river. The entrance is hidden by a willow tree. The den itself is rather large.

Fera lowered her head to lap at the water from the river. Her ears were pricked to pick up the slightest sound of an intruder and her body was ready to spring at any moment while her eyes scanned the thick undergrowth. Hunting had taken her far from the heart of the forest where the den was, and humans were known to try to brave the outer domain. Fera wouldn't let herself be caught off guard.

Kira panted as she scampered about, chasing after a little bug. She seemed to be traveling farther from the deepest part of the forest but she really didn't notice. She was having to much fun. "Got'cha!" she barked triuphamptly(sp?) and she leap forward with her paws closed together. As she opened her paws, she noticed that the bug was the other way now. "Got away again..." she muttered before chasing after it once more. She then came to a stop when she smelled something. 'There's 'nother wolf near by... maybe he'll play wit me.' she thought happily, now running towards the river.

Fera jerked her head up as she heard something hurrying through the undergrowth towards her. She sniffed the air and was surprised to catch the scent of a wolf, and a young one at that.
"Alright, show yourself." she called as her eyes scanned the places where the scent was coming from.

The wolf pup came to a halt, not expecting the scent to be coming from an older wolf. Or atleast, not one older than herself. "She doesn't sound like she wants to play...." Kira whispered to herself, walking out of the bushes towards Fera. "Hi, I'm Kira, who are you?" she asked, going right up to the wolf with a big smile on her muzzle.

Fera stared down at the little pup in surprise.
'She can't be more than a few months old! What in the world is she doing out here alone?' she wondered
"My name is Fera. Would you mind telling me what you're doing all the way out here?" Fera asked with a gentle smile.

Kira sat in front of the wolf, her tail swaying rapidly. "Why I'm out here?" she repeated, thinking for a moment. "I was playing hide-'n-sek with my brothers but then some tall two-leggers came and chased me and mom and my brother from our cave. I've been trying to find them but haven't yet. I got bored after not bein' able to find them then I started chasin' a bug!" she answered, leaving nothing out of her story.

Fera's brow furrowed in worry.
'This isn't good.... the humans keep coming farther into the woods! And now this little one is lost and possible orphaned...'
Fera sighed and shook her head as though that could help her clear it.
"Well then, would you like to come with me to my den? We can look for your pack once we get away from the forest edge."

"Really? Can I?" she asked as she jumped to her feet, now boucing around in that one spot. "It'e really nice 'of ya to help me, Fera." she said with a grin, bearing her little baby fangs. "Is there anyone there I can play with?" she added, hoping that there was.

"There aren't any other pups, if that's what you mean." Fera replied.
She shook herself once then trotted through the trees along the river, heading deeper into the forest.

"Oh." she said simply, her tail falling limp and her ears lay flat against her head in disapointment. She followed after Fera at a fair pace, occassionally having to speed up as she got distracted by all the new sights, smells, and sounds. "Is you pack... really big?"

"Not very." Fera answered and glanced at the pup.
She slowed her pace to make it easier for Kira to keep up.
"What your pack big?"

((I know, but it's not me, it's Kira! XP She doesn't know how to stop when she get's started. I apologize...ToT))
Kira looked ahead as Fera started to walk a bit slowler than earlier. "Uh, no... I don't think so, anyway. It was just the 4 of us- mom, my, and my two older brothers Kai and Roji." she answered.
