I am tired of seeing horrible quest threads that have newb written all over them, as well and I am sick of people saying "I NEED ITEMS" know one needs items, there just pixels...

Why have a quest thread?

A quest thread is a great advantage on gaia, if used right... There are a lot of gaians using quest threads poorly and seeing no results at all.




People will often only put one post saying give me gold...

These people will also tell you how horrible a quest thread is, and how it is a waist of time and wont work... This is not true and they should not be listened to...

Also a quest thread is not a scam, or anything else considered bad. There is nothing wrong with having a quest thread and you cannot get in trouble for having one.

Three word story
*Someone submits the beginning of a sentence, three words exactly. Then the next person submits another three words which connect to the sentence, so does the next person, etc

have a 10 spot competition where people pay a fine to enter and have a prize for the winner...

Username dreams
have people create dream usernames and the best 1 wins a prize, also have a fine for entry...

Avie Competition
have a theme and have people tektek an avvie for a prize after they pay to enter...

Bump it up...
have a prize for teh top bumper after so many days...



randomly giveaway money or items after so many pages or to the top donator...

Another idea is to have a junk war in your quest thread...

Yes, this is actually very important for a well planned quest thread.

Do you know anywhere where you can get banners like a website besides gaia...? i don't want to pay someone to do it for me.
