In most modern day zombie movies and books we hear about zombies biting/eating human flesh. If you appreach a group of people and ask about zombies, you get 2 different answers. Brains and flesh. While i can imagine flesh as logical, seeing that the virus is transfered through blood but im not quite sure of the origins of the whole "Brainzzz" idea.
Anyone know where brainz started? Or am i just stupid and dont realize that zombies love both?

now that i think about it, i'm not too sure where the whole brains thing came from. maybe its something that parents told their kids a long time ago. you know like "if you don't stop doing stupid s**t, zombies are gonna come and eat your brains." no clue. but i too would like to know where it all started.

huh. never wonderd about that. you think naybe it was based off an old movie were zombies needed to eat the brains of others to keep from rotting or to get them to think better (because it's brain food, duh). but idk. i'll have to look around.

If Zombies need protein to survive, it only makes sense for them to eat the brain because the brain has some of the richest proteins in the human body. At the same time they can eat the flesh & get almost as much.
But if the only way to kill a zombie is to "Destroy The Brain" I wonder how any zombie who's brain was eaten is killed....or how they ressrect at all...

LOL, of course theres always the religious belief and the scientific belief. What im thinking about this whole difference in brains over flesh is simple. Some dumbass, probably cartoon creator, made a show where the zombies would run around trying to munch on brains. I'm thinking cartoons because its usually cartoons that you not only see them screaming brains but actually BUSTING THROUGH THEIR GRAVES. Remember, the virus alters life, doesn't create. Too round, too thick. Maybe baby skulls but not normal full grown human.

Even with the jaw muscle being the strongest in the body, it still couldn't crack a human skull.

So the whole "brainssss" concept doesn't work too well. I think it came about as a thrill factor more than anything. The whole, "Don't let them get you or they'll eat your brains!" & lower quality special effects made it hard to have flesh torn apart (Romero's true genious) while for brains just have them act like they are biting the head & add crunching cracking But as the improved media allowed they started using the flesh eating zombies. Having them eat people up, & even rip them apart. & now its just fricking scary, "OMG! OMG! they are trying to EAT me!"

Although i didnt find Shaun of the Dead to be that good, the part where the guy with glasses gets ripped apart being pulled out the window was beautiful. Zombies aren't suppose to show mercy and they shouldn't. 100% pure hardcore brutal carnage and gore.

well if you want to be practical about brain and make it hurt you could hold the person down the get that one instrument ancient egyptians used to take out the brain from the nose and the hair thing ....... u could eat girls they always shave or wax ........ or just hack them to peices and skin them alive....... 3nodding
