So I got arrested for the first time last night.

Got your attention, eh?

Anyhow... so... I go out with my 2 brothers, one is 21, the other is 20. We go to our friends house, she's celebrating getting her GED. I'm 17, and have a provisionals license, so I can't drive between midnight and 5am. And both of my brothers drink, so we have to wait until morning before I can drive home. So we're driving home at 5am (40 minute drive or so) and the 21 year old brother, ben, starts just talking crap. Turning up the radio loud (me and my brother repeatedly ask him not to), and calling me a b***h or something or rather (he always does this, because he's a dead beat sack of s**t, and I constantly remind him of that fact when he tries to talk down to me... say what you will, but what would you do?). Anyways, I scream at him to "SHUT UP" and what does he do... he starts punching me, at 60 miles an hour on the freeway. What do I do? Pull over, of course. Then I punch him upside the face. My other brother, in the back seat, shoots up between us, and separates us. He tells me to get up, and get in the back seat, and I'm already calmed down for the most part, so I do so, and he gets in the drivers seat. Done? No. Ben starts reaching to the backseat for me, and of course, I punch the crap out of his face, and grab him in a choke hold. Richard, the other brother, tells me to let go, and yells at ben to stop ******** around. So I let go. Done? No. Ben gets out of the car, starts punching the car and the windows, trying to get me to come out. I know better than to get out and knock him out, so I sit there, and my other brother hops out, and starts pushing him back, trying to get him to calm down. He finally gets him to stop being retarded for 2 seconds, and we all get in the car, start driving again. Done? No. A cop was driving by and saw us. Pulls us over, comes up with his gun (this guy SWEARS he's the s**t or something) and starts pulling us out of the car. He calls like, 6 other cops, and they all come. He breath-a-lizers them both arrests them, and he comes up to me, and he's the biggest douche in the world.

"You been drinking?"
"I don't drink"
"You don't drink"
"I don't drink"

So he breath-a-lizers me, and he's pissed off that he doesn't have anything to arrest me for (he got my brothers for drunk in public), so he handcuffs me (my wrists are still bruised from how tight he put them on), grabs my back, kicks my leg and drops me to the floor for no damn reason. He tells me I'm under arrest for disorderly conduct. I get walked to another cop car, and put inside. The guy that drove me was pretty cool, I talked to him for a while, but he's just escorting me, the arrest belongs to captain a*****e. I get to jail, and all the papers are done, and they start walking my brothers to the cells, and I'm last in line. It isn't until the last piece of paper that they realize I'm 17, and have to be taken to the juvenile center across the way. He starts calling me a damn retard, and saying I lied to him (when I didn't, he never asked, and I told the other cop I was riding with as soon as we got into the car). So he takes me over there, and I'm still in these handcuffs that hurt like hell, and this other woman starts calling me an idiot, blah blah blah. And I'm so pissed off right now, but I don't say anything, just give them the information they ask for. I sit there in those handcuffs for 3 hours. Eventually my mom came and got us this morning. I don't know what's going to happen from here. Hopefully she kicks my brother out of the house.

I'm having a terrible day.

and if Se Ga Takai's brother gives you some good info maybe that's a good way to get cops like that off of the street so they can't abuse anyone else.

No, they never read anyone any rights... are you sure they have to do that??

If they are questioned, then yes, they need to be informed fo their right not to incriminate themselves. If they aren't informed fo their rights, and they give a statement that could incriminate themselves, the statement cannot be used against them. However, if none were interrogated...then it's a moot point.

So this all got resolved on the 2nd. I forgot to update then, so I'll do it now. In the end, I went in and explained what happened, and all I ended up having to do was donate 50 bucks to charity. No record or anything else. So it wasn't terribly bad.
