It kinda sucks for him, and for Lizzie. But he does look smexier. Except for the angry red scar. crying
I am so, SO ecstatic about Jack's... um... everything. Especially his flag!

Neko_Kitsuni It kinda sucks for him, and for Lizzie. But he does look smexier. Except for the angry red scar. crying I am so, SO ecstatic about Jack's... um... everything. Especially his flag! I read on a on the KTTC forums that Ted and Terry (the writers of all three POTC movies) where questions about the curse and this was one of their responses. "Will is cursed to do the job of ferrying souls for 10 years. When He returns to land on his one day every ten years, if he finds his true love, the curse is broken and he can leave the Dutchman and lead a normal human life on land. Since Elizabeth will be waiting on him when he returns, the curse will be broken. Jones remained cursed because when he came back ten years later, his love wasn't waiting for him and he couldn't be free from the curse. He became so hurt and angry that he cut out his heart and abandoned the soul ferrying job (which is the reason he came to look like a monster)." So that means when he comes back he won't be cursed forever. And I hope you all stayed for the scene after the credits. It was adorable. Jack's dad Teague is the most awesome pirate ever. Jack's many personalities was one of the funniest strange things ever. I love how the intertwined everything from all three movies. Murtogg and Mullroy my favorite confuded navel officers finally become pirates. AND.....Jack still doesn't get his ship at the end. Looks like he's back to where he started.

So since Lizzie an' little Will were there, he's golden!
I agree. Teague was frickin' awesome.
And at least Jack has the map. XD Fountain of youth, eh? Maybe he'll get to be the Immortal Jack Sparrow after all, and THEN where will Barbossa be, eh? dramallama

Hmm...
I just saw the movie again, and I have to say, I don't know that the bit about Will's curse being lifted works...
All throughout the movie, they keep saying things like "The Dutchman needs a captain" and "You'll be bound to the Dutchman forever". That doesn't sound like you can get off after 10 years... not without a successor, anyway.
I wonder if the Captain can hand the position over to someone?
"Here Dad! I've decided captaining isn't the life for me! Bye!" XD

Does anyone other than me thinks it's hilarious that Will has good aim, and knocked Elizabeth up on his first try. And he has a knee fetish?
Did anyone else notice that Jack has dear old mum tied to his belt after talking to his dad. I thought that was funny.

I just watched the movie to tady and I think that the fighting scene in the malestom was too long for my liking but the rest of the movie was awesome! heart xp domokun

I loved the movie!!! i read the book b4 hand so i kinda knew alot of stuff. anyway, i'm soooo happy bc/ they're shooting potc 4 here in Florida!!!!! blaugh did anyone else think that jack's finally gone off the deep end? (all the other jacks)
