So, today is May 24th. One day till the aniversary of the glorious revolution. So, I thought I'd make a board about it.
I totally lucked out. I never realized it before, but in spring, my town is COVERED in lilac trrees! I didn't even care before I read Night Watch. So anyways, my neighbor has a lilac tree, and it's absolutely beautifull. She's out of town for the rest of the week, so I'm going to give the tree a "healthy pruneing" and make a boquet and put it in my room, and pull my hair back with a smaller peice in the pony tail. Yeah, it's a little elaborate and obsessive, but if you can't be obsessive on May 25th, then when can you?

Sorry. I have a lilac bush lining my entire driveway, but due to unusually cold weather (thank you global warming) they've just gotten leaves. *Sigh* Well, the intent is there, I guess.

My searching did not turn up any appropriate flowers, but I
did find something just as good, a lilac-colored towel! It's the perfect
thing as this is also Towel Day (for Douglas Adams, author of Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy). Always know where your towel is! heart 3nodding
