Lindly unlocked the doors to her shop. A pounding headache in her skull let her know that she had drank too much again. It was horrible. She sighed and started getting hot water ready and all the other little things that needed to be started to open the shop.
Then she sat down and waited.

Lindly sipped her tea and heard a scratching at the back of her door. She wrinkled her eyebrows in confusion and then walked to the back, past the door that lead to her small apartment and opened the door.
A small grey and white kitten looked up at her and mewed pathetically. It must have smelled her breakfast foods for the shop and decided it was hungry she thought. She picked it up and walked it to her apartment. No one was coming in yet, so she was safe with taking it to the bathroom to clean it up a bit. She could even find a place for it to eat and possibly a litter box type thing for it.
She was amazed when it splashed in the water around in a playful manner as she gave it a quick bath. It looked so young. Either someone dropped it off or it had gotten lost from it owner or mother.
She fed it quietly and then said, "You can come out to the shop with me if you keep quiet, kay?"
It mewed once and then begged to be picked up. So she did that and carried it into the shop.

-couple of hours later-
Lindly took a sip of the tea she'd prepared and sat lounging on her counter. Today was sooo slow. It was horridly boring.
She wondered if sometimes this shop was in a diffrent plane of reality all together. She sighed and looked at the kitten at her feet drinking from a saucer. It was the only living thing that she had for company currently.

Lyn walked into the shop a bit nervously. She had left the town a few months ago to return home, but after some consideration decided she missed the atmosphere and wanted to make Neverwinter her home permanently. she smiled seeing the kitten and shyly walked up to Lindly "umm... hi..." she whispered with a soft blush. "are you open? i mean if not i could go away cause that what your supposed to do when a place is close...unless its open in which case you stay and order something which is what id like to do if your open that is " she babbled blushing softly the presence of such a beautiful woman throwing her into full on babble mode. "im sorry...ill just shut up now" she whispered looking down
