This is the capital of the Empire -- what more is there to say?

The perfect place for 'bad guys' and obviously - Galbatorix!

Kylaen walks through the city gates silently and moves towards the large castle in the middle of the city. Xirir waited patiently out of sight outside the city. He waited for Kylaen's call.

Clarisse rode Korr above the skies - headed for Uru'baen. Korr's silvery scaled wings flapped silently, but majestically. Clarisse's face held no emotions, and no signs of thoughts whatsoever. Her long hair blew gently in the breeze. Her waterflask was strapped across her back, and that was the only belonging she carried. Korr spoke to Clarisse through thought: What are we doing now? Clarisse replied, Circling Uru'baen, what do you think?! You need to get more practice with flying...for you are not skilled yet. You have just learned to fly a few days ago!

Korr scowled, baring his silvery canines. Korr's teeth were the same shade of silver as the shining scales upon his body. Clarisse kicked whispered into his ear, "Faster." Korr clenched his jaw and flapped his wings really hard, and sped across the skies at top speed. Clarisse sighed as Korr slowed down and spoke to Korr through thoughts, Great job, Korr... that's fast enough. You can go hunting now. Korr nodded and circled above Uru'baen a bit before landing - letting Clarisse off. Then, Korr flew off to the outskirts of Uru'baen to hunt for food.

He discovered a rabbit warren beneath the soil-strewn ground and dug maliciously with his front claws until he reached all the rabbits. He devoured the whole warren with a single gulp, emittting a toothy grin.

I made another one. This one's evil LOL ^_^
*****************************************************
Minroa soared through the sky on Rakr, as the moon rose up full in the sky.
My lady Minroa, I see something on the horizon. Should I pursue it?
You may but leave me out of it. She replied telepathically.
Rakr was nearly a decade old, but could breathe fire better than Minroa had expected him to, so for this she was proud of him.
Rakr's gray body struck across the night sky as he dived for a landing. Minroa had thought she sensed else in the sky before, but she paid it no mind.
Rakr dropped her off at Uru'baen, after, he pursued the creature, twas a
hapless bird as he snapped it up in one bite. Blood dripping from his vile jaw.

But what was that?
Minroa reached for the poison dagger hidden in the back sheath, just in case she would need it.
She waited. The rhythmic taps of walking became gradually louder and louder.
There were no doubts now. Somebody was definitely there, approaching soon, and whoever it was, Minroa was ready.

Ayliea walked though the halls in the castle of Gallabortix looking around as she did she walked with such ease and softness her footsteps barely heard people in lower class then her bowed as she walked by she smirked as she did.

Clarisse strolled through the semi-busy streets of Uru'baen, and then leaned against a building's wall, talking to Korr telepathically:

You done yet?

Korr replied:

Yes, Clarisse...I am coming.

Korr, after licking his lips of the rabbit blood, he leapt up into the sky, flapping his massive wings rather silently and taking flight. He circled above Uru'baen for about 2 seconds and then spotted Clarisse, flying down just low enough so she could grab his tail and scrambled up onto the saddle. Some Uru'baen citizens looked up at Korr and Clarisse and smiled; they were happy that they had some dragons on their side - Galbatorix's side.

Ayliea glared at someone when they dropped something near her, the guy looked at her terrified and scrambled to get the things up, Ayliea walked past him towards the throne room being Gallabortix's new shade much more powerful then his last one she walked up to the doors.

Ayliea walked into his room seeing Gallabortix sitting in his throne his hand rubbing his forehead, she walked over to him " My lord" she said bowing, he didn't bother to look up but he did speak " do you have....any news of those dragon eggs " he asked.

She stood up straight and said " Two have hatched, one dragon is growing bigger hatched before the other girl, hers just hatched recently" she nodded " you have Clarisse who's dragon is much older and wiser as is she " she added. " there two are still small and not strong"

Long locks of silken hair gleamed brilliantly in the dim moonlight like glistening ebony, flowing steadily in gentle cascades down slender shoulders. A pale hand idly brushed some behind rounded ears, and the owner of this willowy hand chuckled faintly, neglecting to be discreet. The only one she truly had to fear was her father, but he was long gone. He had to be; she had killed him with her bare hands. Funny how a man proclaiming to be a master magician had nearly climbed to the top of the social ladder, only steps away, only to be shot down by his weapon of a daughter.

But then again, he had been a pathetic excuse for a magician. Once she gotten within reach, all he had done was fumble with his hands and try to get her away.

It's pitiable some people like my father begin to falter once the enemy gets too close, she mused absentmindedly, stepping gracefully through the streets of Uru'baen.

Then a streak of magnificent gray glided through the night sky, bringing Cynn's silvery orbs toward the sky. To the normal eye, it would have been invisible due to its incredible speed and the darkness of the night, but her eyes were not normal. They were the eyes of someone who had trained for decades, purposely forgetting to stop, pause, and rest. They were the eyes of a true warrior.

It was this pair of eyes that followed that followed the blurred gray streak, staring up calculatingly at where it finally vanished behind several clouds. But then Cynn averted her gaze from the sky and swiftly turned her heel and strode from the area. And although she did not appear to be, she was in awe.

A dragon, whispered a voice in her head. She had never seen one before -- they had only been legends of great, powerful beings whose scales glittered more brilliantly than any jewel and breathed steady streams of destructive, living flame in her mind. But now that she had seen one, she finally knew they were real. Real, living, and breathing.

Cynn stiffened unconsciously when she felt a presence nearby and let her wandering orbs fix upon another figure -- one that had been listening for her footsteps. It was a female with glittering silver hair and a startlingly red pair of ruby eyes. She was already reaching for something hidden somewhere amongst her clothes, Cynn noticed. But she didn't bother to draw her own sword, which was strapped to her back and fit snugly over her slim, flowing black cloak. After all, this girl was only doing it out of defense. There was no need to provoke her.

An amused smile quirked at Cynn's supple lips. Arching an eyebrow, she held up her hand defensively, stepping into view, and stated with a slight tilt of head, "At ease. If you're planning on drawing that dagger--" the shape was already emerging into her line of sight "--then there's no need. I have not come to kill you or inflict any bodily harm upon you."

However, while Cynn appeared to be relaxed, she was far from it. After all, years of going on continuous trips to hell (well, her training probably was just as bad) and back taught you something: never let your guard down.

Her guard still up as she saw this black haired girl walk calmly and composed.
"If there was anything I had learned in my callous life, it's that nobody is your friend." Minroa replied.

Just in that fraction of time, a silver blur streaked across the sky.

Minroa, what is the matter? I sense something unnatural. Do you require aid of some kind?
Possibly, but than again, I may not, thank you Rakr.

With this, he bolted to her.

Rakr crashed in front of them; his eyes and skin color to syncopate with Minroa's hair and eyes. He roared deafeningly.

"No wait, Rakr." Minroa said calmly as she patted his muzzle.
"What have you to say?" Minroa questioned with inquiring eyes.

Chuckling, Cynn eased her fingers at her sides and shrugged. "Perhaps," she answered the other female indifferently, though there still was a tinge of amusement in her voice. "But then again, what makes you so sure about that statement?"

In mere seconds, an enormous presence began to make itself known. Now wary and alert, Cynn let her fingers practically fly to the handle of her ornate sword, Wraith, as the fingers of her other hand prepared to undo the buckle that kept her sword strapped to her back.

Just then, a large blur crashed onto the ground before her, before releasing a deafening roar. Narrowing her eyes and cursing her acute hearing, Cynn swiftly leapt backward away from the new entity with cautious ease. Just as she was about to undo the buckle, Cynn stopped as she caught the full image of the creature before her.

Had she not been so composed, her jaw would have dropped open in a definite gape.

The glorious creature sitting before her, emanating a hostile demeanor, was a dragon. The same one as the one she saw in the sky only seconds ago. His silvery scales gleamed with a beautiful sheen that put shame to the finest of gems and his massive, marvelous form seemed to emit a sense of regality and great wisdom. Honestly, Cynn had never been as awestruck as this.

Regaining her composure, the black-haired female averted her gaze from the dragon to his partner, the girl she had been speaking with. With a slight aura of respect, Cynn smiled. "So, you are a dragon rider? I apologize for our rude confrontation, I suppose," she said, tilting her head to the side slightly as she spoke. "Though I do wonder, how long have you been a dragon rider?"
PostPosted: Mon Jun 18, 2007 7:20 pm

(srry it's so short ^-^)
"I have been a dragon rider for a lingering decade." Minroa replied.
Rakr replaxed now, his ruby pupils contracting.
"I am Minoa." She curtsied elegantly. "And you?"

After seeing the stiff dragon relax, Cynn couldn't help but smile faintly. But this one was without humor; it was just a simple, true smile. Listening to the silver-haired girl's words, the dark-haired girl gave a respectful nod.

"I go by the name of Cynn Knox," responded Cynn. "It is a pleasure to meet such an experienced rider as you, Minroa."

Marveling at the skill the other must have possessed to be such an accomplished dragon rider, Cynn stepped back toward Minroa, keeping a respectful distance, as a cool night breeze whirled by, tousling her dark hair.
