not sure if you can do it in a guild but usually there is a button down at the bottom of the screen that says subscribe to thread.

how do you create a guild

you need 20k to start. The guild area in the world you can go to to get to guilds, find guilds and everything. You create there. Costs 20k. Find a name. You can include purpose and the various.

like he said, questing is just something you say, to let others know that you are working on getting a specific item. sometimes if your lucky you can get donations from other people.
