Skinny, but athletic. Hence the name Stem.

PERSONALITY
Clumsy at times, usually around the laaaadies. Stem is a big flirt when it comes to being around the ladies. Even though he won’t admit it he is. Sometimes he’ll even flirt with the wrong type of woman… you may never know… some guy might get his kicks out of something like that. Stem always ends up embarrassing himself at the end. Because of his thin body and short stature, Stem usually gets turned down.

Stem is always looking for a new start in his life. Ever since he had left his home, Stem has been in search of something and somehow to make people remember who he was. The boy doesn’t want to leave this life time with out leaving his foot in the door way. Stem the great…

The boy loves the forest and the woods, pretty much nature its self. Stem still holds onto the belief that any one else who is not of his race walks through the woods damages everything.

Stem usually tries to get along with people of a different race. Especially the Lamia... which he finds kind of attractive in more ways than one.

HISTORY
Stem left his crowded village to do bigger and greater things in life. He has always wanted to put his herbalist skill to good use and hone them better. Plus there are soo many more ladies out there he hasn't flirted with yet. Nice... tall... beautiful legs.

Well that’s the reason he believe that he left. Everyone else kind of gave him motivation to leave... which was more forceful. Once he left his village they all threw a celebration. Since the town flirt was gone the woman would be safe once again... and they wouldn't have to depend on his dangerous herbs anymore.

Family? I don't think you want to hear about his family. Stem is basically your black sheep of the crowd. Although there are way too many people in his family. Like they say. Just a sneeze could get some one pregnant.

COMMON KNOWLEDGE
Avid Herbalist. Well known for it in fact... although there have been some known cases of Stem being clumsy and mixing the wrong herbs together... just ask that one guy buried 6ft under. Hey there are no guarantees on these "natural cures" guys...

Wonderful plant identifying skills... well most of the time and what some people call "Wilderness Lore".

DIVISION
Ranged Weapon, although magic for herbalist
CLASS PROGRESSION: Herbalist > Druid > Verdant Lord

Herbalist
Keen at identifying and collecting herbs for random uses. Ranging from a poison used by the stealthy kind all the to a potion that would be used to cure a would or hurt the undead.

Clothing choice of course are just the basics. Leather and hide clothing with bark padding. His short bow and arrows are strapped to his back and his herb pouch is tied to his hip.

Fighting style through all these classes will be ranged and that’s how we will keep it. Stem is no good at close combat as he gets to anxious and hold his own.

Druid
Keepers of the forest and the lore of the woods. Commune with animals usually have a animal companion. Stem’s is a dull green toad, simply just named Toad, that lazily sits on the top of his cap and hardly ever moves. Worthless he is!! WORTHLESS!!

Clothing choice is a bit more protective. Twigs and leafs are used to cover the chest, back, and lower body areas, but bark is still used as guards. Still uses his short bow and arrows and the herb pouch is still tied to his hip, but it's bigger now to holds more.

Melee (), Ranged (7), Magic/Other (3)

Evade: 18
Hit Points: 42

Verdant Lord
Able to control plants and turn into a treant. A "natural" hunter of the woods. Bows and arrows are the only weapon he will use. Stem uses his herbs he collects to help cure and add effects onto his arrows. The mushkin can also commune with living nature.

Clothing choice is the toughest hide armor you can find. Designed much like mail armor with it's chains. Still uses his short bow and arrows and the herb pouch is bigger and there are more around his waist.

Melee (), Ranged (10), Magic/Other (5)

Evade: 23
Hit Points: 47

Also include a proposal of point distributions at each stage. Melee, Ranged, and Magic/Other are left for you to customize to your class as you see fit. HP and Evade are structured by which of the three disciplines you feel you best fit under.

Stem will use his herbs on his arrows to create either an arrow with poisonous effect or add color to it to give the creature a stained mark or even leave a marking on a building.

Although Stem only has a limited amount of Herbs in his bag.

Poisonous Arrow
Roll a 5 sided dice. 1 being the weakest poison to 5 being the strongest.

Healing Herb
Roll a 5 sided dice. 1 being the weakest herb to 5 being the strongest. Which ever number it lands on is the +# given to the bonus gaven to Stems Magic/Other bonus. (Dice + Magic/Other Bonus).
*note this can also be used on an arrow in special cases

Color Mark
Roll a 5 sided dice. Which ever number it lands on determines the color.
*not used for battle. Stem uses some herbs to create a colored mixture so he can place a colored spot on a creature or monster he is tracking. So he doesn't mix them up with something else. Sometimes its useful in big groups.
1 = red
2 = blue
3 = green
4 = black
5 = purple

Dangerous Shot
Aside from the poisonous arrow. Stem can give his dull arrows a boost. Although they don't cause any damage, they don't a bit of annoyance.
A dice roll of 2 is needed to select which status is going to be used.
1 = Itching
*decreases evade
2 = Blindness
*decreases skill

When a status is selected then a roll of 2 sided dice will select how effective it will be.
1 = Weak
*-.5
2 = Not as weak
*-1
3 = Annoying
*-1.5
4 = Strong
*-2

After a strength is selected then a time length is rolled for with a 2-3 sided dice.
*level 1 only does one round of effect
*level 2 allows you to use a 2 sided dice
*level 3 allows you to use a 3 sided dice
1 = 1 round
2 = 2 rounds
*obtained at level 2
3 = 3 rounds
*obtained at level 3

Wilderness Shot
Call on the power of the forest to enhance his damage on his shot
*obtained in the druid class

Root Tomb
*obtained in Verdant Lord class

Control Plant
*obtained in Druid class

Treant Form
*obtained in Verdant Lord class

Herb Gathering
Roll a 5 sided dice to identify which herb was found. Then roll a 3 sided dice to determine the quantity.

Commune with nature comes naturally in his druid class. As well the ability to control plants, although it's not as strong as it will be in his Verdant Lord class.

OTHER NOTES
Stems companion Toad does not help aid in battles. Toad is a lazy good for nothing "frog". Toad is used to help weed out information from animals and plants that won't respond to Stem. That’s if Toad is willing to help and that Stem has the proper bargaining measure.

since your going to be dealing in herbs alot, theres all sorts of things you can do with them, Healing - natural remedies and all that, some sort of disorienting powder - make them sneeze constantly..I don't see how a person in a sneezing fit could sucsesfully fight tho thier best abilities..or blind them temporarily..or a sleeping drug of sorts.

Mark targets. You know you shoot a target with maybe a dull arrow and leave a mark on them so you can track them down faster better. Like in a group of animals you'll know which one you marked. 3nodding

Um unless you didn't know (although you probably do...) most of the gaming aspect of this role play requires a stat. Simply saying that it makes them numb isn't enough (I think >.<) it should have some effect on the foe's stats like maybe lowering their melee / ranged / magic skill for X amount of turns.

I may be completely wrong here... but that's the general impression I've got so far. Ek has the last word here so we better wait till he has a look.

Okay, looking over your profile. Your job class stuff is pretty solid, as far as I know, although Earthkid is currently doing some revising to the battle system, so he'd be the one you'd want to get comments from on that, but in general it looks good.

What I think does need a bit of tweaking is the history. We'd really like to know what happened to Stem that made him what he is today: his life as a wee mushkin and stuff like that. Was he a mama's boy? Did he break his arm falling out of a tree? Did he have an unrequited crush on an upper class girl that didn't end well? Give Stem's past a bit more girth. If you're looking for examples, check out the profiles of the guild leaders.
It certainly doesn't have to be as dramatic as theirs, but we're looking for roughly that same level of detail. Stem's history seems to start kind of in the middle between birth and now.

EDIT Don't worry about matching the length. We don't need 10 paragraphs detailing a history really, especially if it's uneventful, but we would like to see more detail. Your history section, at the moment, looks more like the common knowledge section should. History should have more detail - reveal more (well, all) secrets and such.

Healing Herb - Simplify to dice + magic/other. Not a special skill.
Roll a 5 sided dice. 1 being the weakest herb to 5 being the strongest. Which ever number it lands on is the +# given to the bonus gaven to Stems Magic/Other bonus. (Dice + Magic/Other Bonus).
