As implied by the title of this thread, Naoko Takeuchi is the creator of Sailor Moon as many true Moonies already know. She was born on March 15, 1967, which for those of us on the other side of the time division, we would be able to celebrate her birthday on March 14th. The family that our dear Usagi has in Sailor Moon is based off her real life family. Her mother is Ikuko, father Kenji, and a little brother named Shingo. She's married to Togashi Yoshihiro (creator of Yu Yu Hakusho) and has a son, whose real name has never been released. In the past years, she has created many wonderful manga, including our beloved Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.
