Legends of a Fallen Sun
This rp was created by me alone. PM me with all the correct information to join. Now, here is the storyline.
It is the year 1098 p.w. (post war) 1200 years ago, a prophet fortold the death of the planet, Kuthar. "When the Demon Lord is freed and the Dragonkin falls, the end of time shall be upon us."
100 years later, mages, driven insane by hunger for power, attempted to summon Del Firion, the Demon Lord, in order to conquer all of Kuthar. As the gateway to the Final Planes opened, the mages realized their mistake, and tried to reseal Del Firion. They failed, and all but one were killed. Arec Demonborn, known today as the Northern Star, fled from kingdom to kingdom, warning them of Del Firion's coming. But they all fell.
In the end, only 3 kingoms were left. Inia, the Human kingom, located in the far north of the Renad Continent, Sisakan, the Elder Kingdom, located in the Vallenwood Forest, and Mirik, the Dragon Realm, located in the Firesa Mountains. The 3 kingdoms fled to Micarthisin Hold, know known as Arec's Tower. With them went Arec Demonborn and 7 other heroes from the destroyed kingdoms.
During that last battle, Arec and his companions infiltrated Del Firion's floating stronghold, and fought their way to the throne room. Inside, they encountered Del Firion, and attacked him.
During the battle, 3 of the group were killed, but Arec trapped Del Firion within a gem known as the Fallen Sun. With Del Firion's capture, the stronghold collapsed. Arec held it up long enough for his friends to escape, then died in the collapse.
It has been 1100 years since then. Mages have rebuilt the land and established the 3 Orders and several academies where students learn skilles that will help them in the future, be they mage, soldier, or assassin. You are one of these students. This is your story. And remember: Syc transit gloria- all glory is fleeting.

bio: lives with his mage parents in the village near the academy. His parents sent him to school to learn magic and swordsmanship. With his great intelligence, he is easily one of the best students in his class, if not the best.

other: is very good at combining swordsmanship and sorcery. he excells at enchanting weapons, alchemy, attack magic, and quick casting (using spells swiftly) is pretty good at other magics. He often hangs around the study hall, helping people with their work. one of the few swordsmen who know the kuriasa style, also known as the magic blade. is close friends with the young silver dragon, Mani.

She wears black tennis-shoes with blue stitching too. She has a small sapphire earring in each ear. Her red hair is down to the middle of her back. It is perfectly straight.
Personality: She is generally a happy person, who is nice to everyone, unless they give her a reason not to be. She can be a valuable friend, and a dangerous enemy.
Job: Assassin.
Bio: She grew up in a small village a few miles from the school. She lived there with her father, her mother having died giving birth to her. She was always interested in becoming an assassin, since that was her father's profession. When she turned 13, he decided it was time to send her to school, which is where she is now.
Age: 13.
Other: She has a black cat named Shadow that follows her everywhere. He usually sits perched on her shoulder.

other: Has long Katana (6ft) made of Mythril and six daggers and a silver bow with special powers that make it easy to aim and a demon's bane. He can be hot headed and doesn't back down from a fight, especially if it's over a personal affront.

"Alright class," said Professor Caric, "As you know, today, Gener Demonborn is coming for a visit today. Three or more of you, a magic classed student, a combat classed student, and a stealth classed student, at the least, are all going to become his new apprentices. I want you all to work hard, and maybe many of you will go with him."
Arrken smiled to himself. Caric had already told him that Gener had picked him to recieve one of the apprentice spots. He just wondered who the others would be.
"No matter, Arrken whispered to himself, "I will be the greatest among them. I am already the best student battlemage of my age in all of Inia. Not one of them can best me in magic, and only one or two in tactics and swordsmanship. Just wish I was better at stealth..."

Ryu, who had been dozing, woke up with a jolt. Hmmm...well, the mage will definitly be Arrken. He's the best in his profession. But maybe the stealth apprentice will be me! I'm a good assassin! she thought. She yawned, then straightened, trying to get into the habit of looking attentive and alert. She had to look like a good student to be chosen.

Frowning slightly, Arrken leaned forward, listening to what Caric was saying now.
"Class, I must warn you. Gener, like his predecessors, may use the technique known as Mind Delving. He might search your mind for anything that shows weakness or disloyalty. The few of you who have familliars," he was looking at Ryu and Arrken now, "are immune to these effects, and will be brought under his tutelage anyway. Your powers will be of great use to this land."
"Oh, now this is just wrong, Arrken whispered to his friend, Zylup, who smiled and nodded, "No man has the right to do this."
"Arrken, Gener is a half-Demon," whispered Zylup, "Remember?"
"Right, right, but you know what I mean," Arrken whispered back.
Mani, what do you think about this? Arrken thought. As always, he heard (or sensed) Mani thinking, I'm not sure...

Oh yeah! I'm definitly in! And it's all thanks to you, Shadow! thought Ryu. She reached up to her shoulder to pat Shadow. The two could talk telepathically, but he usually didn't respond. This time was no different. He purred in happiness however.

"Yeah! I don't want to go into battle unprepared!" said Ryu. Shadow hissed vehemently in agreement. Settle down Sha-kun. You're making us look bad. thought Ryu to Shadow.
I'm making us look bad? I think you're making us look bad! thought Shadow in return. It wasn't usual that he would actually reply, so he caught Ryu off guard.

"Shut up!" Arrken hissed at Vimes, "Gener Demonborn is the greatest member of my order! He is decended from Arec himself! And Ryu, quit talking to your cat! I'm trying to talk to Mani, and your thoughts keep getting in the way! Also, it's unlikely we're going to do battle with anything yet, other then our sparring partners, he's just gonna use the mind-delve!"
Arrken glanced at a silver haired girl in the back, who was laughing silently. Shut up, Mani.. Arrken thought, And please make Ryu shut up! I can't make her stop talking, er, thinking!
