I've only seen the first three movies.
The second sucked.
But I did really like the third.

...so the movies arent better than pokemon.
I liked the first two, I hate the third one, and I have a love/hate relationship with the fourth. crying
The new one looks pretty rad, though.

The third movie sucked.
HARRY DOES NOT FIGHT A DEMENTOR [AKA THE BOGGART] IN THE CLASSROOM WITH THE REST OF THE KIDS BECAUSE LUPIN THINKS THAT IT WOULD BECOME LORD VOLDEMORT AND THAT WOULD BE RLY SCARY.
They did do a decent job on the ending, minus the broomstick part. stare

My favorite book is still the fourth one, which I've read way too many times, and I was pretty happy with how that movie came out too.

I am very tempted to lock this thread for saying that f*****t potter is better than pokemon.
Look, the books are decent, but the HP movies suck even more than the pokemon ones.
That's right
I called harry potter a f*****t

I only read the books becasue Dumby, Snape, and Voldey are the collective man.

Sockks the Necromancer My favorite book is still the fourth one, which I've read way too many times, and I was pretty happy with how that movie came out too. The fourth movie was fun and put together nicely, they just changed/took out so much. crying I was pissed off that Winky wasn't in it.

Third was my favorite, but it's been blown out of the water by the sixth. Book-wise, of course.
Movies...eh. I like them as movies, but compared to the books they SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. They change/leave out WAAAAAAY too much.
I've seen the third the most, so I can't really comment. I've seen the second three times, I think...the first maybe four times, and the fourth once. I barely remember the fourth.
I'm excited for the fifth movie, but I'm worried about what they can do with it because it was just lots of information and very little action 'cept for the very end. It's just OMG HARRY IS ANGRY, OMG HEARING, OMG UMBRIDGE, OMG DETENTION, OMG CHO, OMG SNAKE BITE, OMG CHRISTMAS, OMG OCCLUMENCY, OMG AZKABAN BREAKOUT, OMG DA, OMG SNAPE, OMG GRAWP, OMG PROPHECY, OMG SIRIUS, OMG VOLDEMORT, OMG TRUTH. OMGOMGOMG. Most of that isn't enough to turn into a feature film, so I'm just worried about how much they'll change and how much information they'll leave out. Really, if it accurately reflected the book, it'd be like...80% dialogue. Not very much HAPPENS.
But I'm a gajillion times more excited for the seventh book than the stupid fifth movie.
Bleeeeh.
But I agree.
Books > Pokemon > Movies.

The third movie was the best one, but I haven't read the third book. Alfonso Cuarón is a great director and I don't think it's a big deal if he changed the book a little as long as it still got the main plot theme across. I'm sure he did it because the movie looked better that way. I'm also upset that he has short hair in the new movie.
I've only read the first, fourth, and sixth books and out of those the fourth was my favorite, but I'll definitely be reading the seventh one.

Actually, I can't wait to see what Luna's like, cuz she's my favorite character.
And Dumbledore pissed me off too.
