(Each pokemon you have with you at the festival gains one level. If you have a grass type, roll a six sided die. The number it lands on is the number of lvls it grows unless its Six. If you get six it will count as two lvls)

After healing at the pokemon center, Kathan decided to rest for a little while at the cherry blossom festival. "I have never been to one of these before." thought Kathan to himself, "But they say these events give killer experience."

Kathan looks at his bulbasaur who looks to be in complete awe at its surroundings. staring carefully at the beautiful pink trees, and the gorgeous scenery, the bulbasaur tries to take in the bountiful sunshine, and participate in the dances. "That is a bit more energy than I expected this thing to have."

Kai was headed to the entrance of the festival when he was stopped by two kids. "Your not going any further till you battle us!" They both released their pokemon, a Mudkip and a Eevee. "Geez, why cant I get a break? Fine, Abra, Treecko go!" And with that, the battle was started.
"Mudkip use water gun on Abra!" The first boy cried out. Abra, use teleport, followed by Confusion! Kai thought. Mudkip shot its watergun, and just as it was about to hit Abra, it teleported behind it and used confusion launching it a few feet forward.
"Eevee, use quick attack on Treecko!" the second boy cried out. Eevee charged forward slamming into Treecko and knocking it back. "Treecko! use Pound!" Recovering from its attack treecko jumped up and slammed its tail into eevee's side.
"Fine! Mudkip use mudshot!" Mudkip kicked its back legs shooting mud at Abra. Abra got hit by the Mudshot but that didnt stop Abra. Now Abra use confusion on Mudkip again! Abra whiped the mud off and lifted its arm, using confusion to slam Mudkip into the eevee, knocking Mudkip out.
"Hey! Eevee use quick attack on Abra!" eevee dashed forward slamming Abra and knocking it back. Abra could barely move but wasnt fully out of the fight yet. "Treecko, quick use pound on eevee before it can hurt Abra any more!" Treecko jumped into the air, coming down smacking its tail hard on eevee's head. Eevee stood back up and began to charge Treecko but before it could reach its opponent it fel to the ground.
"So...can i go in now?" The two kids sighed as they ran off.
With that they entered the festival.
(Treecko + 1 lvl) (Abra +1 lvl) (picked up 100y)

As the three walked in they were in aww of of all that was going on. All the different food stands, attractions and grass pokemon. They walked around tasting all sorts of different and unique foods. After they had have their fill of that they found a tree and sat down to watch people go by.

Well at least bulbasaur seems to really be enjoying itself... perhaps i should read a book. Kathan scouts out a nice patch of ground to sit on surrounded by trees and flowers, and all sorts of pleasant things, and pulls out the book They Shoot Horses Don't They.

Kai was really enjoying the Relaxation, watching other trainers walk by with their pokemon, most of whome had different sorts of snack foods in their hands. Abra was leaning up agains the tree asleep as usual while Treecko was climbing through the branches jumping from one to the next. "Heh, i guess you are really enjoying this festival eh Treecko?"
"treeeeeeecko tree!" Was the response Kai got. They sat there for a little while longer before they decided to do something else. They were walking down the rows of stands looking at all the different Games and prizes and shops and resteraunts. As they continued to walk they stumbled upon two trainers battling, one using another treecko the other using a Paras. It was sort of a slow battle, what got Kai's attention was the Treecko. It was using a move he wasn't familiar with. "Keep it up Treecko! keep using Absorb!!!" This got Kai to thinking, Absorb? maybe if that treecko can use it so can mine! This thought kept giong through Kai's mind as they continued through the festival.

Kai Was walking through one of the lanes of stands and as they reached the end of that row they saw a kid sitting down reading a book with a bulbasaur sitting next to him. Kai was fairly scared to get near the pokemon, but he figured it would be good for Treecko to let it hang out with other grass pokemon. So he walked up and sat down near them. "Treecko..." The pokemon chirped as it staired at the Bulbasaur. "Hi there, I'm Kai"

"oh...well, Me and Treecko just started our journy...and i thought it would be good for it to hang out with some other grass pokemon for a while.." Kai continued watching his pokemon. this guy is kinda creeping me out..

"Ahh, whatever floats you're boat" Kathan keeps reading "If you want a book to read or something i can get you some if you want, my bulbasaur seems to be enjoying itself running around aimlessly. I'm sure it wouldn't mind interacting with other pokemon." Kathan turns the next page which features a gorey image.

"Oh, no thanks, im not much of a reader...so uh...got any other pokemon besides Bulbasaur? I have an Abra..." By this time Treecko decided to just go and play with Bulbasaur. It Sprinted forward crying out. "Treeeeeeeeeeecko ko tree
