Did I not reach far enough?

I was left cold.
Tears filling my eyes,
evacuating slowly.
Was every smile,
a lie?
Every smile,
a fake?
Trying to pity me....
with these words of love.....
I said I loved you.
Was it just jibberish?
Or did it not reach you?
I want you to....

it's kind of stilted and repetitive. a valiant effort but no cigar. if you tried you could take the basics and turn it into a really good poem, this one just didn't do it for me.
