Sooo, ( yeah, I know, I changed the topic, you'll live. ) I pretty much rp nothing but humans. I don;t see a need for freaky powers or having the ten-billionth vampire. I'll be a lazy a** human guy any day.
But I know some of you guys do all that stuff.
So discuzzle it.
I don;t like vampires, but I'm pretty tolerant of about anything else. Maybe just because they're overused, I don't know, they get to me D:
I like me some mermaid-like things D: Never seen anyone play anything like that before.

You know, I've never tried to RP Gwen has a human, but I suppose I have my reasons (i.e. major factor is, we are human so I guess that kind of makes me bias about what humans can do). Maybe if Gwen dies and is reborn I should play her as a human. That could prove rather interesting.

Well currently this character of mine is a demon so I have to pick demon. If she was still an Elf I'd probably have to go with one of the other options.

I've always played humans, other than one of my characters who changed halfwayh through his life by choice.
It's a whole lot less fun XD you can't have that much of an interesting backstory or strange powers, but I just love the concept of somneone without any powers or anything particularily special about them able to persevere.
Hmm, I think I should change this thread into a discussion about rp character's races, what do you think? XDD I like it.

I like doing weird powers on occasion, but i prefer a more realistic roleplay. I don't think any of my characters have crazy powers. O_o Nitika Izawa is a ninja, nut not like 'Naruto' ninja. . .more like modern day Yakuza ninja assasin/thief/dog. She's cool and really fun to roleplay it's been ages since i have been her though..}}

Mmm.. species...
The species of my characters depends on the character, really. For the most part my characters seem to be human lately, but quite a few of them are faye touched, if not full or half fairies. It's more fun that way, there's more variety, and tweaking powers is easier. I have one who's got the pointed ears, but can't use magic. Instead he has an ancient one shot gun (think 1500-1800s hand guns) given to him by a spirit of chaos that shoots random bullets. A few times the bullets have turned into blue birds...

Especially since my character is the weakest thing EVAR and I do not do combat-type rps. D:
It's okay if you're a villain as long as you are the only, bad-a** villain.

And I don't really care for combat RPs either. Plain ol' story and plot twist with more intrigue than being kicked in the head is my kinda thing. Too bad fighting ones are all that seem to work here...

I mostly like roleplaying as a lycan, or sometimes a human. I've pretty much been using lycan charries as long as I've been roleplaying. I dunno. I'm partial to them for weird reasons I don't really want to explain. It has to do with me, my friend, and my cousins liking wolves and stuff. xP Long story. Very long, and very stupid.
My characters are never super-invulnerable or anything, though.
